Jade Beerling from Cooroy rode her own, 'Swanreach Style' to fifth place in the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh. About 100 ml of rain fall over Brisbane in the last 24 hours but it cleared for the start of competition today and the arena was perfect.

Well known NSW breeder, trainer and exhibitor, Andrew Buckley is pictured working out in the Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh class riding his own and the EB Lodge's, 'EBL One Night In Paris'. The eye catching three year old is a Warmblood by Regardez Moi out of a Carbine Mare.

Angela Millen from Chambers Flat rode her , 'Dunelm Showbiz' to third place in the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh.

A busy Jess Stalling missed her jumping class this morning, but by way of compensation, she rode the J & R (Jess and Rhys Stones) Equestrian nomination, 'Glendon Brae Oscar' to win the Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh class and claim the Novice Galloway Championship.

Kirsty Harper-Purcell rode the Harper-Purcell and S Clark nomination, 'Kolbeach Fashion' to win the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh. They went on to claim the Kelly Bond Open Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh and take out the Reserve Galloway Championship.

The Harper-Purcell family had a very busy and successful morning. Toni Harper-Purcell is pictured riding her 'Kolbeach Venetian' that took second place in the Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh class and was named Reserve Champion Novice Galloway.

Jordan Skyring from Park Ridge had a successful morning. She won the Turnout Class for Riders 12 AU 15 Years and a little later took third place in the class for Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh riding her delightful, 'Rathowen Macnamara'.

Nelson Smyth from Wandal in Queensland makes a stylish jump aboard his 'Brown Eyed Girl' to take second place in the the Group C jump off class this morning.

Taylah Andrew from Waterford rode her , 'Janevelyn Made To Order' to fifth place in the class for Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Very successful Queensland jumping rider, Clem Smith makes a super jump aboard the impressive and imported For Feeling (by For Pleasure) mare, 'Florina' . They took fourth place in the Group C jump off class this morning.

Ian Hamilton from Kandanga dashed around the course this morning riding his super, 'ASB Coregidor' to claim victory in the Group C jump off class.

Isabella Spencer from Barraba in NSW rode her Australian Stock Horse, 'Waymere Oaks Style' by Oaks Ebony to win the class for Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Successful Queensland showing exhibitor, Carmel Perkins rode her successful, 'Highgrove Mitsouko' to second place in the class for Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

A grown up looking Thomas Madigan from Mackay rode the Madigan Family's 'Kolbeach Farmer' to second place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

An as always beautifully presented Kim Durante rode her own and Belinda Virtanen's 'Langtree Class Act' to win the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Karen Shaw rode her own and the Redlands Show Stables' evergreen Australian Stock Horse, 'Interlude' to take third place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Caitlin Cullen from Belli Park in Queensland rode the Cullen Family's 'Headley Park Unique' to fifth place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

All the way from Victoria, Shelley Penny rode the Newman Family and her own nomination, 'Sheldene Arcade' to win the Jan McMillan Open Lightweight Show Hunter Galloway class.

Another Victorian, Darryl Hayes rode the Madigan Family's 'Kolbeach Vogue' to take second place in the Open Lightweight Show Hunter Galloway class and a little later in the day they claimed the Gent's Galloway class.

Alexandra Newcombe from Warwick in Queensland put on a splendid display to take second place in the class for Lady Rider Turnout In Sidesaddle.

Crystal Mort from Cooroy rode her 'DP XTC' to win the Open Heavyweight Show Hunter Galloway class and take out the Show Hunter Galloway Championship.

Di Firth rode the very well performed, 'Rothwell Kind Regards' to take second place in the class for Heavyweight Show Hunter Galloway and continue on to take out the Reserve Champion Show Hunter Galloway title.

Terry Cowan continued his great show today by taking out the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh with Vince Corvi, Margaret Beggs and his own , 'Kolbeach Dior' by Fernleigh Fine Print.. This combination , purchased by the exhibitors as a weanling, went on to be declared Champion Galloway Hack. Terry is pictured acknowledging the generous applause during his lap of honour.

Tim Amitrano and his 'Mr Innocent' started favourite for the Cullen Family Brisbane World Cup Qualifier. They jumped a double clear around Kevin Hansen's testing and long track, but in the end was relegated to third place on time.
