'Beaufort Heiress' stepped out today to win both the Lady's and Open Heavyweight 14-14.2hh Galloway Heiress was as always ridden by Trinette Crawford and exhibited by Sue Peters and Beaufort Nutrition P/L.

Adam Olivier from Queensland rode the Widdowson Family's 'Willowcroft Regal Winter' to win the Gent's Galloway class.

Brook Firth rode the Wells Family's 'Wellan Just Magic' to win the Novice Pony NE 12hh class.

Pam Bush rode Gary Alcorn and Anne Dawn's Novice 13.2-14hh Pony winner, 'Westlake Hummingbird' to take out the Best Novice Pony Award. Hummingbird is by Rothwell Toy Town out of Willowcroft Hillsong.

Alice Winnett just keeps on winning. A former multiple Junior Champion, Alice won the Junior Lady Rider (17-21) class today.

Trinette Crawford again, this time at the right end of the line winning the Open Pony 12.2-13hh class with the imported 'Ainthorpe Splendid Morning', exhibited by Prue Harvey, Darren Telford and Greg Gerry.

The owner rider of the Barastoc Hack of the Year last week, Jessica Barton, demonstrated her style over the fences, competing in the C Grade AM5 aboard 'Carter'.

Rome World Championship Showjumping team member, Deon Williams from Bega rides 'Queue' in the C Grade AM5.

Joanne Uppington and Robyn Unsworth's 'Festival' just keeps on winning. Ridden by Ryanne McIvor the beautiful mare by SIlver Laird out of A Riot in Paris won the Mare Showing Thoroughbred Qualities class. 'Festival' took those qualities to the Thoroughbred ring to take out the Reed Thoroughbred Supreme Champion Led Thoroughbred Award.

Victorian ex-pat, Paul Austin who likes the Queensland sunshine, rode Sally George's 'Rathowen Storm Warning' to win the Open Lightweight 14.2-15hh Galloway class.

'LJS Keeping Secrets' is really on the move. Ridden by Beau Cunning and exhibited by Darren Telford and Greg Gerry the Supreme Champion Led Part Welsh won the Open Pony 12-12.2hh class.

Alanna Richards rode the Gavin/Corbert and Bindi Eye Stud's 'Bindi Eye Standing Ovation' to claim the Champion Ridden APSB Exhibit title.

Gina Beck rode her own and J Rand's 'Commands Atttention' to take second place in the Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh class.

Amber Pollard rides her 'Wizardry' in the D Grade AM5.

Nicolette Joines-Ryan did the honours with the Werombu Pines Stud's 'Werombi Pines Bistros Star' to win the Gelding Over 15hh Over 4 Years and go on to take out the Australian Stock Horse Led Gelding Championship.

Alex Jones from Scone went one better lhan last year with the Australian Stock Horse Mare, 'Rosemount Reflection'. Champion Mare last, Reflection by Adios Reflect out of Riviera Baby Grand, was declared Supreme Champion Led ASH.

Katrina Metherall rode the lovely 'Beach Carnival' to win the Open Pony 13.2-14hh class. Exhibited by Katrina and her mother Rosie Metherall.

Jaci Mascord from Penrith won the Australian Stock Horse Junior Judging class. Jaci is seen here with judge, Sue Wilson and well-known Stock Horse Identity and Canberra Official, Frank Coonan.

Whitney Hunt rode Brooke Gargan-Young's 'Fairlight Acres Jackson' to win the Open Pony NE11.2hh class.

Lily McEvoy rode her very well-performed 'Mirinda Touch of Mink' to win the Childa Pony 12.2-14hh class.

Grace Hill did a super job to take sixth place in a tough Childs Pony 12.2-14hh class riding Kimberley, Nicole and Danyel Riemer's 'Roseagle Sea Sonata'.

Karen Nichol rode her own and Kay Bryan's 'Springvale Sabrina' to win the ASHLA class adn the sash for the Highest Placed Novice Rider. Sabrina was earlier declared Reserve Champion Led ASH Mare.

The Alkyra Stud and Belinda Scanlon's 'Alkyra Flamboyance' by former Canberra Champion, Flamboyant (Scarlet Sceptre" out of Grand Jodier was declared Champion Thoroughbred Stallion/Colt.

And the skies opened. The transition form sunshine to tropical storm caught a few by suprise. Here Lindy Walker does her best to retain posesion of the Alkyra Stud and Belinda Scanlon's Thoroughbred Filly winner, 'Alkyra Elegance'.

LA was a bit reluctant to accept his award for the Gelding Showing Thoroughbred qualities class. Bruce Flood donated a rug for the winner in memory of his outstanding hack, Royalty. Somehow I think the late, grey legend would have understood. Here we see LA ridden by a determined Francesca Christie safely on the move. judge Roy Davis commented that LA, who worked well in the class was a" beautiful upstanding horse".
