Horses are wonderful equalizers. Matthew Dowsley rode the Cheryl Smith's impressive stallion Don De-Sandro in the 4 year old Material class. The young horse was happy to go down the VIP end of the arena if he could "follow a friend", but was very reluctant to head south as lead horse. As in the first round of all the Young horse classes, horses do their test in groups of three.

Ton proved to have a friendly manner and was free with excellent advice like " if you are going to kick them, at least make sure it is a kick that they will remember". Ton rides the Young horse finalists on Friday and gives his official Masterclass on Saturday.
Mary Hanna and her impressive Sandro Hit stallion, Shiraz Black showed plenty " of jump" during the flying changes. This reining DWTS Champion of Champion Young Horse, finished the Wagners Saddlery Prix St Georges in third place.
