After a successful weekend at the East Coast Arabian Championships last weekend, Andrew Buckley headed straight to Werribee with his APH Lubeck mare, EBL Lush to compete in the 4 year old Material class.

Ian Balfour rode Alex Sventek's, Vakai by Coppabella Visage in the 4 year old Material class. Unlike the 5 and 6 year olds, the top ten 4 year olds do not ride an individual test, the top three are ridden by guest rider Ton de Ridder tomorrow.

Nicholas Fyffe rode Jennifer Rapson's, Fioretta by Ferrero Rocher to lead to 4 year old Material Class after the first round.

Bernadette Gibson rode her Rotspon gelding, Neversfelde Rafael to finish in 14th place in the 4 year old Material Class.

Jane Radburn riding her WB x TB, Jaybee Aloisi to finish mid field in the 4 year old Material Class.

Samantha Ruedugger rode her Oldenburg mare, Revelwood Contiki Bl to finish mid field in the 4 year old Material Class.

Rodney Martin rode Sue Goodwin's, Waterfords Rossini to third place in the 4 year old Material Class. Rodney also rode Andrea Beatty's, SS Sonata Hit to second place in this class. The top three move through to the final phase tomorrow.

Allison O'Neill rode Linda William's homebred WB x Clyde x TB stallion, Linbil White Russian to finish the 4 year old Material class in equal fourth place.

Jodie Newall riding her Jive Magic Gelding, Jive Matric C finished mid field in the 4 year old Material class. All 4, 5, and 6 year olds have a consolation round on Saturday.

Simone Bloomfield was pleased with the performance by her Holsteiner gelding Isle of Rolex in the 4 year Old Material class.

Megan Hewitt rode Paul Keir's, stallion, Springfield Serenity in the 4 year old Material class.

Katrina Bolmat riding her Weltmeyer gelding, Hollands Bend Weltich competed in the 4 year old Material class.

James Miller from Queensland rode his Stallion, Goron Toron Sir Stirling by Stedinger to finish the 4 year old Material class in equal fourth place.

Gary Lung from Queensland rode Belinda Geissier's, Remi Prince Charming by Prince Noir (Imp) to finish the 4 year old Material class in equal eight position.

Natalie Davies riding her own Jaybee Alabaster gelding, Jaybee Allstar, finished the 4 year old Material Classs in equal 11th place.

Nicole Touzel rode her Weltmeyer mare, Marzel Welttron in the 4 year old Material Class.

Robyn Todd rode Jaybee Allure in the 4 year old Material Class to finish mid field in the large class of 38 horses.

Clare Porz rode Judith MacPherson's, Mayfield Zenith by former DWTS Champion of Champions Mayfield Pzazz to finish the 4 year old Material Class in eleventh place.

Tracey Clayton from SA rode her Donnerblitz gelding, Danson Dynamic to equal fourth place in the 4 year old Material Class.

Horses are wonderful equalizers. Matthew Dowsley rode the Cheryl Smith's impressive stallion Don De-Sandro in the 4 year old Material class. The young horse was happy to go down the VIP end of the arena if he could "follow a friend", but was very reluctant to head south as lead horse. As in the first round of all the Young horse classes, horses do their test in groups of three.

Sarah Buckley heads past the impressive back drop riding her own Mayfield Why Not by the recently exported Whisper.

Maree Tomkinson rode her own ans Lyn Sultana's wonder mare, Diamantina to win the Wagners Saddlery Prix St Georges with 69.912%.

Rebecca Walshe from the ACT riding her own XL Overtime took seventh place in the Wagners Saddlery Prix St Georges.

International guest, Ton de Ridder gave a mini practice master class. Ton proved to have a friendly manner and was free with excellent advice like " if you are going to kick them, at least make sure it is a kick that they will remember". Ton rides the Young horse finalists on Friday and gives his official Masterclass on Saturday.

Mary Hanna and her impressive Sandro Hit stallion, Shiraz Black showed plenty " of jump" during the flying changes. This reining DWTS Champion of Champion Young Horse, finished the Wagners Saddlery Prix St Georges in third place.

Dirk Dijkstra and his imported stallion, AEA Metallic finished the Wagners Saddlery Prix St Georges in eighth place.

Jodie Young rode her Part Welsh, Thorwood Lemongrove by Silkwood Puss N Boots, to fifth place in the 5 year old Material Class for Ponies.

Louise Maguire riding Christine Milvain's, Welsh B, Mithril Heros Return in the 5 year old Material Class for Ponies.

Emily James riding her own Arab/Welsh Kaluda Gold took fourth place in the 5 year old Material Class for Ponies.

Josephine Chamberlain from SA rode her Welsh C stallion, Hillswood Duplicate to first place in the 5 year old Material Class for Ponies. On Friday the top three ponies from the 4 and 5 year old classes will be ridden by international guest rider Lydia Camp.
