Victorian representative, Tiffany Greenhill rode her born to be shown, 'Glyndebourne Monopoly' to claim The Riding Pony Stud Book Society National Large Show Hunter Pony Championship. Monopoly was bred by John and the late Janet Petty and is by Kirreway For All Occasions out of the three time Barastoc Galloway of the Year, Glyndebourne Mietta. The well known and successful Greenhill family have produced the typey pony from the outset.

To the tune of "Here We Go Again" ten year old South Australian Team Member, Victoria Fricker produced the winning work out riding Isabelle Barker's beautiful Welsh A Pony, 'Rivington Royal Hiccup', with all three judges in agreement. This is the second victory for the successful Rivington Stud and the mare by Nattai Vychan out of Rivington Hebe, as the pony took out the title in 2008.

NSW Team Member, Mark Tarrant has enjoyed many successful visits to the Nationals and this year was no exception. Mark rode his unraced Thoroughbred, 'Stealing Time' to take out the Equine Welfare Seminars Show Hunter Small Hack Championship. Stealing Time is well named, as his time was very nearly up before it really got going. Thanks to a vet with a good eye and Mark's training, he is now a National Champion.

Former Victorian and now Queensland rider and trainer, Paul Austin took out the Equine Welfare Seminars Show Hunter Small Hack Championship Runner Up award riding, 'Kaluda Regard' that is by the Grand Prix Dressage star, 'Regardez Moi'..

Matt Patterson continued the good Tasmanian showing on the first day of the 2011 Nationals. Matt is pictured riding the former racehorse, 'CL King William' by Sonar Boy that was declared Runner Up Champion EFO Show Hunter Large Hack.

Rebecca Farran rode Samantha McMaster's successful and good working Desert King mare, 'DP Destiny' that was purchased through Horse Deals Magazine and today claimed the EFO Show Hunter Large Hack Championship for Victoria.
