Horseland Australian Dressage Championships

Silva Steigler rides the Boyd Martin (of eventing fame) bred 'Theopolis-Thisla W' by Salute out of the Thoroughbred mare, Sunny in the Holiday Inn Intermediate I for 57.70%.

Lisa Martin rode her nine-year-old gelding, 'Rhythmic' by Salute to take 16th place in the Holiday Inn Intermediate I with 60.15%.

Heath Ryan with the Susie Duddy bred and owned 'DP Wedonna' in the Precision Printers Elementary Championship. The five-year-old Wedonna is by Weltmeyer out of the Grand Prix mare, Donna Carrera, also competing at these Championships. Wedonna was second in the 3.3 with 65.11% and third in the 3.4 with 65.33% to be declared 2006 Australian Elementary Champion.

Amanda Mitchell from Victoria with her 'Peacemaker' by Gilshaw Caliph out of Mikopol, competing in the Precision Printers Elementary Championships.

Natasha Althoff from Victoria with her six-year-old imported Friesian stallion, 'Ebony Park Abe' by Anne 340 out of Wenpewene, Seen here competing in the Elementary Championship. They scored 63.11% in the 3.3 and 61.61% in the 3.4 to finish the Elementary Championship in sixth place.

Popular competitor, Christine Crawford from Lochinvar with Elaine Harrison's impressive six-year-old Falkland Victory stallion, 'Northern Simba', seen here competing in the Precision Printing Elementary Championship. Simba was third in the 3.3 with 64.11% and fourth in the 3.4 with 65.14% to claim the Elementary Reserve Championship.

Amanda Shoobridge with her six-year-old Gymnastic Star mare, 'Revelwood Mon Star' competing in the Precision Printing Elementary Championship.

Former Victorian, but now resident in NSW, Sally McPherson with her Ilkay gelding, 'Absolute Indulgence' competing in the Precision Printing Elementary Championship.

Tor van den Berg with the John and Bev Edwards bred and owned, 'Jaybee Allegro' by Aachimedes out of Fourwinds Freda, competing in the Elementary Championship. They took fifth place in the 3.4 with 64.57%.

Well-known and popular riding instructor, Roger Fitzhardinge with his colourful Lubeck gelding, 'Leningrad' competing in the Precision Printing Elementary Championship. They took 10th place in the 3.4 with 62.09%.

Popular Victorian rider, Luciano D'Elia with his 'Wangana Showman' by Northan Aslan in the Holiday Inn Intermediate 1. They scored 60.10 % for 17th place in a strong class.

Jenny Gehrke rode Joanne Cotton's Gulit mare, 'Gitane' to take fifth place in the Precision Print Elementary 3.3 with 63.88%.

The always busy Heath Ryan rode Dr Margaret Evan's Rubenstein stallion, 'Regardez Moi' to take third place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix with 64.00%.

Bernadette Gibson from Tasmania rode her Northern Ariel gelding, 'Christoph Amarcus' to take 10th place in the Precision Print Elementary 3.3.

Lynda Kirkpatrick rode her Argentille Guilit gelding, 'Overbrook High Roller' for 12th place in the Precision Print Elementary 3.3.

Anne-Maree Lourey with her 'Richmead Medallion' competing in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix.

Katherine Belchen from Queensland with her Walt Disney mare, 'Blanco Park Waltstar' competing in the Precision Print Elementary Championship.

Jane Sandford from NSW rode hr own six-year-old Olympic Ferro mare, 'Flowervale Ferrona' to take seventh place in the Precision Print Elementary 3.3.

Amelia Kristan from NSW rode her Box Hollow Crusader gelding, 'Talein' to take third place in the Precision Print Elementary 3.3 with 64.88%.

Rozzie Ryan rode Susie Duddy's lovely Donnerhall mare, 'Donna Carrera' to take eighth place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix with 60.95%.

Anita Scampton riding for New Zeland rode her Falcon gelding, 'Faulkaneer' in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix.

Caroline Coleby from Victoria with her stallion, 'William II' by Wenckstein competing in the Elementary Championship.

Successful Queensland breeder and producer, Shane Davidson with the Fairbanks Stud's mare, 'Fairbanks Whitney' by Weltmeyer, competing in the Elementary Championship.

Glennis Barrey was at short odds to take out the Holiday Inn Intermediate I Championship with her 'Classico II' and she did not disappoint her many admirers with victory gaining 67.25%.

Victorian rider, Nadia Coghlan, just back in the country from a four year tour in Europe training with Cristy Oatley-Nist and Karen Rehbein', proved the worth of the training by winning the Hamilton Island Island Grand Prix riding her Northern Congress gelding, 'Northern Campion'.

Brett Parberry with Dr Kerry Mack's charismatic Weltmeyer stallion, 'Whisper IV' in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix. Contesting their first National Championship Grand Prix title, Brett and 'Whisper IV" were second with 64.12%.

Virginia Holmes with her Quarter Horse 'Cedar view Gifted' by Splendid Hunchdeck out of Tarascan Tabatha competing in the Elementary Championship.
