Well known Queensland and international rider, Adam Mellers was back on the domestic World Cup circuit at Shepparton. Adam is pictured with the talented mare, 'Florina' during the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m class this morning.

Evergreen Victorian rider, Des Gleeson rode 'Black Marlin' to take second place in the hotly contested J Murphy and Sons 1.20n class first up this morning.

Queensland young rider, Samantha Courtice and her 'KS Patches' make a big effort during the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m jump off.

Andrew Inglis is picture with one of three imported European mares he rode in the jump off of the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m class this morning. Andrew from Wilberforce in NSW finished in seventh place with Bella Rose R.

Lachlan Manuel rode his brother Sheridan's colourful, 'Renmano' to out pace the opposition and win the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m jump off class first up this morning.

Successful international rider, Allison Rowlands now back in WA, made the trip east for the end of year World Cup Tour. Allison is pictured riding Peter Cooke's promising 'BB Bella', a five year old mare by Premier des Hayettes. They finished eighth in the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m class.

Billy Raymont brought a team of ten down from Cooroy in Queensland. His is pictured with 'Southern Cross Aviation' during the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m jump off. A little later in the day , Billy won the 1.30m jump off class riding 'K G Ampolla'.

Atlanta Olympian, Jenny Parlevliet is pictured in the jump off of the J Furphy and Sons 1.20m class riding her 'Sammi'.

Jamie Kermond rode Des Russell's imported and impressive stallion, 'Valhalla' to take fifth place in the J Furphy and Son's 1.20m class first thing this morning.

Tim Clarke looks to be planning a quick turn aboard 'Belcam Catalyst' during the jump off of the 1.20 class this morning. Tim and the stallion by Contango II finished in sixth place.

Emily Blinkworth jumped two super rounds under trying conditions to take second place in the JH and Co Management P/L 1.30m class riding her 'CP Romantic Dream'.

Both Amy Graham and her imported stallion, 'Baloubet Australia' put their heads down into the rain as they prepared for competition. Amy had a busy and wet day for fourth place in both the 1.30m class and the GMCU A & B One Round riding her 'Transatlantic'.

Olympic Games one day, putting up the rails the next. Beijing Team Member, Laurie Lever is well aware that showjumping is not all glamour, as he helps with the course before the A & B One Round competition. As it was obligatory to start in the class preparatory to the World Cup tomorrow, Laurie jumped the first fence aboard his Olympic horse 'Ashleigh Drossel Dan' and then retired.

In poor conditions, Chris Chugg and the Australian Sporthorse Breeders' still managed to look good as they jump around the A & B One Round competition.

The rain clearly did not dampen Vicki Roycroft or 'Infatuation's' enthusiasm as they make a copy book jump during the A & B One Round competition.

Paul Athanasoff and 'Wirragulla Nicklaus' made a welcome return to competition today, although Nicklaus does not look to be enjoying the rain. The rain however did not affect his jump.

Wendy Schaeffer and 'Koyuna Sun Set' coped well with the conditions to win the GMCU A & B One Round competition this wet afternoon.

Julia Hargeraves made it look easy as she jumped around riding her 'Copabella Haymen' to take sixth place in the A & B One Round competition.

Brisbane Royal World Cup Qualifier winners, Robert Goodwin and 'Warrego Sandon' cope with the Victorian weather.
