Amanda Painting-Ragg drove O. and W. Ragg's, The Doune Marigold to be declared Champion Hackney Pony. The Pony of the Year show provided a good harness program and a good area for the exhibitors but it was unfortunate more competitors did not take advantage of the competition.

C, M, S and E Bramley's, Osory Clemency (Weston Park Tasisman x Osory Crisiant) won the class for Welsh A Mountain Broodmare.
Yarra Heights Stud, Imperial Lia (Imperial Caruso x Nattai Ladylike) was placed second in the Welsh Mountain Pony Broodmare class.

Paulgren Park's, Paulgren Park Venus (Rhyl Jupiter x Centaine of Marceau) took second place in the Yearling Show Pony Filly ne 13.3hh.
Joanne Prestwidge presented her homebred Royalwood Chorus of Love (Royalwood Boy Soprano x Sunsmart) to be declared Champion Riding Pony filly and go onto to take out the Riding pony of the Year.

Allan Dillingham presented his own and P.Dooper's, Highcroft Angel From Heaven (Rosedale Lords x LJS Heavens Above) to take out the strong class for Riding Pony Show Pony Filly 2 years ne 14hh.

A highlight of the second day of the Pony of the Year show were the many outstanding exhibits in the Welsh ring.
