With a couple of fences down early , Ally did the right thing and opted to retire the mare and make the experience a good one and not a traumatic one. The mare by Icon was bred by Thea Crooke of The Holey Plain at Rosedale and is out of Thea's mare, Blackall Park Calypso. Interestingly Tim Clarke's Caltango is out of the same mare.

Sadly for the talented pair the second round was not as perfect, with a misunderstanding and a fence down resulting in the addition of nine further penalties to slip them back to eventual third place.
