Melissa Alexander had a wonderful day with her 'Gift of Killarnie' (Killarnie/Oberon Shandee) to take out the Champion Led and Champion Ridden Cleveland Bay awards. Melissa attributes her recovery from a serious illness and return to riding to her calm, generous, typey and good moving Cleveland Bay.

Rebecca Farran rode the RTM Training Stables, 'Barnoolut Remini' (Ahmaja/Barnoolut Catalina) to claim the Ridden Arabian Championship.

Sarah Bray rode her 'Raphael' (Royal Rubin/Decopage) to take second place in the Ridden Warmblood Stallion/Colt class.

Amanda and David Shoobridge's impressive and imported stallion, 'Smash Hit' (Sandro Hit/Rose Noire), ridden by Gina Montgomery was declared Champion Ridden Warmblood. Earlier in the day 'Smash Hit' was declared Champion Led Warmblood.

The Ascot Stud's 'Ascot Satara' (Lemons Hill Top Note UK/Ascot Satin Doll) was declared Reserve Champion Led Arabian Pony Mare/Filly and Reserve Champion Welsh B Mare/Filly.

The Halloran Family's 'Marconi Chanel' (Weston Park MercuryWeston Park Music) was declared Supreme Welsh B Exhibit and went on to claim the Eileen Bartrum Perpetual Trophy for Best Welsh In Hand. Karen Mamouney is pictured on the move with her Champion Shetland Filly , 'Illangi Addison' (Gracedale Brigadier/Illangi Tessica).

The Vicary and Martin nomination, 'Lynvale lodge Jadescent' (Yick You Sonny/Lynvale Lodge Jubilee) was declared Reserve Champion Shetland Pony Mare. As always the Shetland turnout at the Summer Royal was outstanding.

Jenny Campbell's'Tokyo Joe' (Craveff/Sia-Nara) was declared Supreme Champion Arabian Derivative. Joe is pictured with L-R judge, Meredith Scullin, Doyle Dertell and judge, Glenys Lilley.

Mick Cerchi won the Led Thoroughbred Stallion class and went on to take out the Thoroughbred Stallion Championship with his, 'Seek The Stars' (Galileo Ire/Lady Arlington).

Carly Thomas took out eh Led Thoroughbred Colt 3 Years ans Under class with her lovely Woodlands bred, 'Criteria' (Niello by Octagonal/Critical Mass). The colt, soon to be gelded was declared Reserve Champion Thoroughbred Stallion/Colt.

Regular Summer Royal attendee, Suanne Vale rode Jan Langley's 'Langtree Opium' (Langtree Valentine/Langtree Opera Song) to take second place in the class for Ridden Show Hunter Pony 13.2-14hh.

Angie Niclolls rode her Champion Led Arabian Derivative Gelding, 'Orabanda County Fashn' (Manorvale County Royal/Kawahi Fashn) to win the class for Ridden Arabian Derivative Mare/Filly/Gelding 13.2-14hh.

Doyle Dertell is on the move with Krishlah Arabians and Future Farms Rami Sash (Filly) winner and Supreme Champion Led Arabian Exhibit, 'Vaya' (Shaklah's Fame 'n'Fortune/Avonda;e Special).

The Charmosa Pony Stud's 'Osory Spit Fire' (Weston Park Talisman/Simeon Starfire) was declared Champion Welsh Mountain Pony and Supreme Champion Welsh Mountain Pony.

Simon Parker did the honours with Judy Ivory 's 'Merivale Park Kings Ransome' (Myscal Encore/Fairley Camilla imp) that took third place in the class for Riding Pony Yearling Colt Not Over 12.2hh.

Greg Mickan led Christine Frost's 'Elmdale Park Flash Dants' (Mirinda Field of Dreams/Yarramie Ants Pants) to win the class for Riding Pony Colt 12.3-13.3hh and take out the award for Champion Riding Pony Colt.

The Argyl Stud's 'Kolbeach Royalist' (Camargue Tribute/Ardenhall Royal Secret) shown at the gallop by Charlie Hunt was declared Champion Riding Pony Stallion.

Ava Halloran rode her 'Glengwin Singer' (Weston Singer/Glengwin Tara) to win the class for Open Welsh First Ridden Pony 12.2hh and Under.

Peter Clohesy is pictured with his own and Robyn Keam's Warmblood 2 and 3 Year Old Filly, 'Kalbrook Park Eloise' (Premier des Hayettes/Lareda TB) that took second place in its class..

Stuart Ryan had a sensational day in the Australian Pony Ring. Amongst other awards he claimed the Champion Mare and Supreme Led Australian Pony award with, 'Kooyong Amythest' (Samson Silver Shadow/Kooyong Crystal).

Chloe Brook's 'Glengwin Material Boy' (Elargee Tip Top/Westbury Madonna) took out the Reserve Champion Welsh Leading Rein/First Ridden award. The well performed pony was ridden by Cassie Jones and is pictured with proud owner, Chloe Brooks.

Sophie Fox rode 'Thorwood Dixieland' (Stanton Park Paparazzi/Stanton Park Miss Money Penny) to win the class for Show Hunter Pony 12.2-13.2hh and go on to claim the Reserve Champion Ridden Show Hunter Pony award.

Jordy Wright rode A Carter and B Gleeson's 'Thorwood Alice In Wonderland' (Stanton Park Hell's Bells/Stanton Park Blackberry Pie) to win the class for Ridden Show Hunter Pony not over 12.2hh.

Maddi Tabak rode Shona Lamb's, 'Newington Replica' (Brierdale Sequel/Silkwood Spring Romance) to win the class for Ridden Show Hunter 13.2-14.22 and claim the Ridden Show Hunter Championship.

Emma Mitchell rode Cherie Mills and the Vancouver Park Stud's , 'Tangerine Charity' (Ebondale Amadeus/Wandarra Carmel) to take out the Champion Ridden Shetland Pony award.

A well travelled Kira Lee Newman from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland rode the Gargan and Young's well performed, 'Araylon Heritage' (Moongalba Tristan/Valkyrie Honor) to take out the Ridden Shetland Pony Reserve Championship.
