The Malibu Park Stud's lovely Colt. 'Malibu Park Tramonto' (LJS Limited Edition/Malibu Park French kiss) was declared Reserve Champion Palomino Stallion/Colt.

Cathy Chandler was delighted to claim the Clydesdale Gelding Championship with her 'Simmie Aled' (Narioka Diplomat/Cardross Amber).

G Feakins' 'Watermark The Whistleblower' (unknown/Trumble) won the Colt 3 Years and Under class and went on to be declared Champion Gipsy Cob. Exhibit

Denmore Park's 'Denmore Park Samson' (The Lad/Cillabarra Delilah), all the way from Mudgee in NSW shown by Esmay Rheinberger was declared Reserve Champion Gipsy Cob Exhibit.

Ms M Nichols' 'El Bailador Bragado' (Blue Blood Asoco/Just In Control) was declared Champion Andalusian Gelding and Supreme Andalusian Exhibit.

Tiffany Green won the 2 and 3 Year Old Filly class with her 'Celadon Alibi' (Waylon J Justice/ Celadon Evangeline) and went on to claim the award for Champion Australian Stock Horse Mare/Filly.

The georgeous 'Grassdale Elizabeth Taylor' (Liberty lodge Pharaoh/Brickwood Hill Exquisite Lady) exhibited by Grassdale Miniatures was declared Junior Champion Miniature Pony Filly and Supreme Miniature Pony Exhibit.

Just a week short of a year ago, Jenny Cooper and her 'Gee Jay Basil' (Gee Jay Rustic/Nuniong Peppa) were caught up in the Black Saturday bushfires. But they made it through, a little singes but safe and today claimed the Champion Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding award.

Clearly Gerrad Gilmour had a super day at the Melbourne Royal Horse Show. Earlier in the day he took out the Champion Led Pinto Stallion award and later claimed the Ridden Pinto Championship with his 'Woodchase Charlie Brown'.

Mick Sinclair's talented, 'Shangrila BW Red Emperor' (Shangarila NR Born To Win/Cardinia Kit Kat) won the Miniature Pony Hunter Jumper class.

After being out in the paddock for over a year, Shae Hanger's Garryowen winner and outstanding Show Hunter, 'War Wind' (Daley K/Blackall Park Sunshine) is back with a vengeance. The eye catching and elegant big grey was declared Supreme Led Open Breeds Exhibit and this afternoon took out the Best Of Show Championship, decided from all the Supreme winners.

Libby Greshner's 'Beauparc Exquisite' (Fairlight Acres Exquisite/Beauparc Reminising) won the Led Show Hunter Mare/Gelding 12.2-13.2hh and went on to be declared Supreme Champion Led Show Hunter.

Carole Hibbert rode her delightful New Forest Pony, 'Ninebanks Nina' (Kapeta Farro/Danewood Elle) to take out the Champion Ridden Mountain and Moorland award. Earlier in the day they took out the Reserve Champion Led New Forest Pony award.

This wonderful combination, MsC Demopoulus-Rault and her 'Littleton Might and Power' (Littleton Ebony Prince/Catala Goldie Locks) understandably claimed the Miniature Pony Fancy Dress class.

Emma Firth won he Ridden Dartmooor Pony class with her, 'Skye Mist Banjo's Ballard' (Langfield Canth imp/Glynton Park Jessica)

Janine Molan won the Ridden Connemara Pony class with her wonderful, 'Gracefield Park County Durham' (Springfield Deveraux/Boonahburra Carousel) and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Ridden Mountain and Moorland Exhibit.

Anna Thirkell rode the Grave and Thrikell nomination, 'Croft Choc Argyle' (Barrymoor Mercury/Whinmere Rainbow) to win the Ridden Highland Pony class.

Just love the hair do. Sarah Fry rode Holly Bennett;s charming, 'Pandora' to win the Ridden Fjord Pony class.

The Boonderoo Partner's outstanding stallion, 'Boonderoo Blackwood' (Kirkby's Stud Remedy/Glen Lee Rivoli Joelean) could not put a foot wrong today. He was declared Supreme Led Australian Stock Horse, and both Champion Ridden and Champion Working with Anne Jelliff in the saddle.

We are used to seeing this combination keeping order at Melbourne Royal in September. But Mandy Hough swapped her red coat for a tweed one to compete in the Australian Stock Horse classes. Mandy rode her 'Nuniong Eclipse' (Baree Gunman/Nuniong Cinnamon) to win the class for Working Australian Stock Horse Gelding.
