Queensland rider Jayden Brown really impressed with Beau Dowsett's , HHSA Five Year Old Champion, 'San Andreas'. The imported Sandro Hit gelding out of a Walt Disney mare was highly praised by the judges; "a very special horse", and is one of the most impressive and talented horses seen since the inception of Young Horse classes in this country.

Matthew Dowsley rode Cheryl Smith's Don Fredericko stallion, 'Don de Sandro' out of a Sandro Hit mare to qualify in second place for the final of the Hanoverian Horse Society Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Judy Dierks had a great weekend and is pictured with Vicki Newham's imported and delightful, Diamond Hit gelding, 'Diamond Star', the 2011 Five year old Champion and now 2012 Six Year Old HHSA Young Horse Champion.

Rodney Martin rode Andrea Beatty's Australian bred gelding, 'SS Dante' (Welfenadel/Donna Carina imp) to claim the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Four Year Old Championship.

Daniella Dierks rode Greg and Julie Farrell's impressive and imported Londonderry gelding, 'Luxor 119' to second place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 69.65%.

Robyne Smith from Scone in NSW really impressed with her delightful, typey and talented, 'KS Beauchamp' (Victorieux/Elle) that was eighth in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 64.70%.

Successful NSW rider, Kate Taylor-Wheat rode her beautiful imported gelding, 'World Star' (World Magic/Galia) to win the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 69.90%.

Mark Arthur from Coogee in Sydney rode his charming Salute gelding,, 'Kooinda Saint' to sixth place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 66.35%..

David Shoobridge rode the Revelwood Stud's beautiful imported Rubinstein stallion, 'OO Seven' to third place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 68.47%.

Tor van den Berge is pictured riding Sharna Glover's beautiful Jive Magic mare, 'Karingal Anastasia' that took fifth place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 67.10%. The Inter 1 ranks this year included some really promising new faces, which bodes well for the future.

Jeremy Janjic rode Lyn Jenkin's delightful and talented Friesian stallion, 'Django of Cacharel' (Pike/Renske van de Olde Hoek) to an entertaining Japanese theme in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle.

Popular Victorian rider rode her equally popular and talented imported Dutch stallion, 'Mayfield Pzazz' (Jazz/Elissa) to a haunting "Titanic" theme for ninth place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 64.075%.

Young and promising Victorian rider, Fiona McNaught produced a good test riding her imported Indoctro gelding, 'Ostra' for fourth place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 66.75%.

Maree Tomkinson again demonstrated that her own and Lyn Sultana's magnificent Diamond Hit mare, 'Diamantina 1V' is an international star in the making. The Grand Prix CDI winner however had to settle for second place tonight in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 70.67%. The competition was close, with three of the five judges having Diamantina in first place.

Heath Ryan again proved what a great competitor he is and what a great horse his experienced Rubinstein stallion, 'Regardez Moi' is, as they again weaved their magic to the entertaining "Rango" theme, and using the piaffe/passage tour to great advantage, won a close fought Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 71.275%.

Young Rider, Elliott Patterson rode Jane and Maurie Bruce's legendary, 21 year old , 'Neversfelde Kudu' to second place in the Gow Gates International Prix St George Derby with 65.44%. The traditional international Derby involved the international guest riders and the two chosen to ride for Australia to pick a loan horse out of a hat.

Nineteen year old Esmee Ingham from Vancouver in Canada rode Diane Stanley's, 'Colonial Hot and Handsome' to sixth place in the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby and help Canada to take second place in the Horseland International Team Competition.

German born, Australian resident, Anne-Catherine Hudson rode for the European Union Team, and took third place in the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby riding Kylie Woodyatt's, Jentzen. The Euro Team took third place in the Horseland International Teams competition.

Australian Team member, Matthew Dowsley rode Connie Bookless' Anamour mare, 'UQU Anapavlova' to win the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby by unanimous judicial decision with 68.65%,. and lead the home team to a resounding victory in the Horseland International Team competition.

New Zealand Team member, Andrea Bank is pictured riding Lise Dawson's Salute gelding, 'Scruple' to fifth place in the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby.

Canadian Team member, Lindsay Siedel-Wassenaar rode Maxine Cummings' charming palomino by Cherrington's Jason, 'Pinnamurra Ricardo' to fourth place in the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby. Lindsay was declared the Best Performed Overseas Rider..

Hana Rose-Thompson from NSW made the Hanoverian Horse Society Four Year Old Young Horse final with her lovely Australian bred mare, 'Royal Deelite' (Royal Hit out of a Don Ramiro mare).

Alexis Hellyer rode Ali Foye's Weltmeyer mare, 'Whistler GP' out of a Don Ramiro mare to make the final of the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

German guest rider, Andreas Schoffner is pictured putting Nicola Paff's, Four Year Old Finalist, the stallion, 'Pacific Surreal' (Sir Donnerhall/Salute mare) though it's paces in the final HHSA Young Horse judging session.
