Queensland rider Jayden Brown really impressed with Beau Dowsett's , HHSA Five Year Old Champion, 'San Andreas'. The imported Sandro Hit  gelding out of a Walt Disney mare was highly praised by the judges; "a very special horse",  and is one of the most impressive and talented horses seen since the inception of Young Horse classes in this country.

The Grand Prix CDI winner however had to settle for second place tonight in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 70.67%. The competition was close, with three of the five judges having Diamantina in first place.
