Sydney International Three Day Event and WC Showjumping

Hilary Scott jumped one of just three (of 25) first round clears in the Greater Sydney Grand Prix riding Alice Cameron's impressive and imported mare, 'Oaks Miss Scarlet'. Eight penalties and a slow time in the second round saw them finish in seventh place.

Shane Rose began the last day of the Sydney Three Day Event in the best possible way by winning the Equitak Excel CIC One Star competition. with a score of43.10 riding the Warmblood stallion, 'Contenda'.

Bridget Crosato was seventh overall in the Equitak Excel CIC One Star competition. riding her , 'Silenzio', but took first place in the Junior competition that was run in conjunction with the One Star. Bridget also took second place in the Junior competition riding her 'Park Street Vision' (14th CIC One Star).

Elizabeth Lowery and 'KL Kismet' jumped a good clear in the final phase of the Logan Floats CIC Two Star to finish in fifth place with 61.50 penalties.

Tim Boland was almost as busy as Shane Rose at the Sydney International Three Day Event. The internationally successful rider and trainer is pictured aboard his 'Gorsehill Star' that finished on his dressage score, 51.20 to take third place in the Tarraleah CCI Two Star competition. Tim won the CIC Two Star competition finishing on his dressage score riding Umunga and was second aboard the French import, Mercator Du Ry.

Shane Rose rode the typey Warmblood, 'CP Qualified' by Quiet Capitol that was imported by George Sanna from Europe as a stallion. This afternoon they jumped a good clear in the final phase to win the Tarraleah Park CCI Two Star with 45.90. Shane was also fourth riding his home bred 'Shanghai Joe' and went on to cap off a brilliant day by taking third place in the CCI Three Star riding Michelle and Brett Jones' talented Vivant gelding, 'Virgil'.

Well known and successful Eventing lawyer, Emma Mason led all the way from the outset in the Tarraleah Park CCI Two Star riding her typey, 'Poker Face'. Sadly they slipped to second place after the final fence of the final round fell.

New Zealand Trans Tasman Team member, Simon Gordon is pictured during the final jumping phase of the Equestrian NSW CCI Three Star competition. They finished in eighth place with 81.30 penalties. The event incorporated the 2013 Trans Tasman test. Australia won the test by more than 60 penalties

Australian Trans Tasman Team member, Natalie Blundell jumped a super clear round aboard Julia McLean's wonder Thoroughbred, 'Algebra' to finish the EV NSW CCI Three Star competition in fourth place and of course help Australia retain the Trans Tasman Trophy.

Australian Trans Tasman Team member, Craig Barrett backed up his 20112 Adelaide Four Star victory with a good second place in the EV NSW CCI Three Star. They just added one jumping rail to their dressage score to finish with 53.80.

Stuart Tinney led the Australian Trans Tasman Team to victory, leading from the outset by winning the EV NSW CCI Three Star competition and with it the Robert Slade Memorial Trophy, riding Jane and John Pittard's Daley K gelding,'Pluto Mio'.
