Cassie Lowe rode her, 'Koko Pop' by Blackfriars to take third place in the Alltech Five Year Old Young Event Horse Championship.

Is Niki Rose in the wrong class?. She is pictured aboard Angela Shacklady and Shane Rose's, 'Dicavalli Diesel' making a spectacular jump during the Alltech Six Year Old Event Horse Championship. The gelding by Donautraum out of an Alabaster mare jumped every fence like this and won the Six Year Old Championship.

Australian Trans Tasman Team member, Natalie Blundell is pictured aboard Julia McLean's wonderful; Thoroughbred , 'Algebra' during the dressage phase of the Sydney CCI Three Star competition that incorporates the biennial Trans Tasman competition. After the dressage they hold second place with a dressage score of 47.70.

Australian based New Zealand Team member, Joseph Waldron is pictured aboard his, 'Springvale All Black' during the dressage phase of the Sydney CCI Three Star competition. They are in 20th place after the dressage phase.

New Zealand Trans Tasman Team member, Donna Smith is pictured aboard her non Team horse, 'Balmoral Tangolooma' during the dressage phase of the CCI Three Star competition. Donna holds fifth place with Tangolooma and sixth place with Team horse, Just Chocolate.

Shane Rose is pictured aboard Michelle Hasibar and Brett Jones' super seven year old Vivant gelding, 'Virgil' during the dressage phase of the Sydney CCI Three Star. After the dressage they hold equal third place on 49.80.

Second last to go, Stuart Tinney produced the best test of the day riding Jane and John Pittard's Daley K gelding, 'Pluto Mio' to lead with 46.00 after the CCI Three Star Dressage phase. The Australian team of Stuart, Natalie Blundell and Algebra, Craig Barrett and Sandhills Brillaire and Emma Scott and Mustang are well placed after the first phase of the Trans Tasman competition holding, first, second, third and ninth place. Donna Smith and Just Chocolate are the best placed of the New Zealand Team in sixth place.

New Zealand Team veteran, Bryce Newman is pictured aboard, 'Bates Trademark' during the dressage phase of the CCI Three Star. They hold 12th place on 57.30 heading in to the cross country phase tomorrow.

Hilary Scott rode her mother, Alice Cameron's lovely imported mare, 'Oaks Miss Scarlet' to fourth place in the 1.40m jumping class today. Unfortunately the Grand Prix on Sunday is no longer a World Cup Qualifier, however it will still be an entertaining and exciting class.

Billy Raymont rode his super Thoroughbred, 'Stardom' by Grosvenor to jump a double clear to take third place in the 1.40m jumping class in the SIEC indoor arena.
