Polly Moloney pictured riding her Show Hunter Galloway, 'Cheraton Mikado' had a busy and successful day and was later declared Vas.Ltd Champion Rider 8 and under 10 Years.

Nirrelle Somerville has had great success with show ponies and she continued her good form today by claiming the Vas Ltd First Season Large Pony award with her , 'Kolbeach Bells'.

Kristen O'Connell rode well to take out the Vas Ltd Championship for Riders 18-21 Years.

Sara Love had a grand day with her splendid, 'Tulloch Ard' that she tells us is by Ginger out of Helen! Sara was declared Supreme Champion Senior and Tulloch Ard VasLtd Champion Show Hunter Hack.

Shelley McGuinness is not quite the regular competitor in the show ring she once was, but proved today that she still has what it takes to win. Shelley rode her Warmblood, 'Roxleigh Liberty' to take out the Vas Ltd Champion Rider 21 and under 30.

Kaitlin Labahn rode Michelle Labahn's typey 'Owendale Mr Perkins' to take out the Vas Ltd Small Show Hunter Pony Reserve Championship.

Holly Lewis rode the McMahon and McCormick Families' 'Leanda Hanky Panky' by Kirreway For All Occasions to take out the Vas Ltd Small Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Judge, Luciano D'Elia is pictured holding the Mrs Harold Bartram Perpetual Trophy for Good Hands for Boys and Girls. The trophy was first presented at Melbourne Royal Show in 1946 and the recipient this year was Emma Mitchell from Corowa in NSW.

Chloe Brooks rode her well performed and deserving, 'Glengwin Material Boy' to win the class for First ridden Pony 12.2hh and Under.

Grace Ivell comes from a successful riding family and today kept that tradition alive by taking second place in the First Ridden Pony class aboard her own and Adrienne Leigh's 'Flowerdale Titanic', that is known as "Leo" at home.

Experienced show rider, Emily Barton rode well to take third place in the strong class for Rider 5 and Under 8 Years.

Tilley Fair looked both delighted and composed as she was sashed Champion Rider 5 and Under 8 Years.

Caitlin Smith was delighted to take out the Vas. Ltd Rider 16-18 Years Championship.

It was a grand day for the Welsh and Linley Wardle looks delighted with her, 'Dalgangle Paper Doll' that was declared VasLtd Champion First Season Small Pony.

Alexandra Nairn rode well to take out the Rider 10-12 Reserve Championship award.

Sarah McMaster was thrilled to claim the VasLtd Rider 12-14 Championship.

Lilly McEvoy again put in a beautiful performance to take out the Championship for Riders 14-16 Years and continued on to claim the award for Supreme Champion Rider Under 16 . Lily is pictured riding her good working Carbine gelding, 'Towering Inferno'.

Laura Thomas always puts in a good performance and she is pictured riding Samantha Fraser's 'successful, 'On Fire' in the class for Show Hunter Hack 16-16.2hh.

Kristen White rode the Mayfield Farm's impressive Jet Set D gelding, Mayfield Noble to take out the Vas Ltd Reserve Champion Show Hunter Hack award.

Poppi Plumb has taken over the Leading Rein reins and is pictured aboard the wonderful, 'Bamborough Special Girl' that took out the class for Show Hunter leading Rein Pony Riders 5 AU 8 Years. Oh and dad, Dale to the rest of us, looks quite pleased with the morning's work.

Well known and very successful showing exhibitor, Shelley Penny had a great day at the 2012 Vas Ltd Saddle Horse Championships. Shelley from Traralgon in Gippsland began the day by claiming the Show Hunter Galloway Championship with her home bred, 'Sheldene Carnival' by Owendale Salute out of Sheldene Tamika. Shelley is pictured with sponsor and worker, Fay Keen, on this occasion representing the Australian hunter Horse Association.

Penny Ahern is picture aboard her elegant, 'Aston Martin' that was declared Reserve Champion Vas Ltd First Season Hack.

Sheridan Hammet and 'Uhavta Intime 'N' Intune' make a lovely picture as they trot past judge Jill Best from South Australia during the class for First Season Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Well known and successful showing identify, Greg Micken is pictured riding Romsey Park and Zoe Griffett's lovely, 'Buckwell Park Delusion' in the 14-14 14.2hh class and they went on to claim the Champion First Season Galloway award.

Briony Payne was virtually born in the show ring and she has enjoyed enormous success ever since. Briony is pictured riding her 'Wesswood Magic Castle' out of the great Galloway, Pure Caste in the class for First Season Galloway 14.2-15hh. They went on to take out the Reserve Champoin First Season Galloway title.

A rather grown up, Georgie Cameron is pictured on the run with the Cameron Family's well performed, Shetland, 'Otway View Xena', with Zara Smith riding well during the class for Shetland Leading Rein.

Apprentice jockey, Patrick Moloney rode his Welsh Cob, 'Primrose Park Red Fox' to take out the First Season Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship award.

The winner takes the prizes. With Lauren O'Doherty leading and Ella O'Doherty riding, 'Jenssel Park Bronson' they clamed the Shetland Pony Leading Rein class sponsored by Tuff Rock.

Rianna Percy is pictured riding her own and her mother, Peta Plozza's, 'Monrose Park Chelsea' during the final of the Vas Ltd First Season Large Pony.
