Victorian All Welsh Show

Samantha Dean stopped off at the Victorian All Welsh Show on the way to the Victorian Dressage Championships with her 'Barn Hill Rebel Yell' (Prince Burbon TB/Imperial Rachel). On his way the Welsh Cob, Thoroughbred, Arab, took out the Best Senior Part Welsh award.

Lisa Gentle's 'Yarrumdoc Regal Bronze' (Willowcroft Regal Chase/Cheranne Briar Rose) was declared Champion part Welsh Stallion.

The Moloney Family's sensational, 'Lykanarrao Rockafella' (Cheraton Cadan/Dalgangle Goldilocks) won the Ridden Welsh Pony gelding class and cantered away with the Champion Ridden Welsh Pony title to add to his already considerable haul. Rockafella was ridden with great style and confidence by James Moloney.

Jacob Wells rode Cherie Mills' 'Palm park Acclaim' (Koora-Lyn Gordost/Nampara Royal Applause) to take out the award for Champion Ridden Part Welsh Exhibit N.E.12.2hh.

Brooke Stevenson rode the Bamborough Pony Stud's well performed, 'Bamborough September Song' (Fairlight Acres Kidman/Bamborough Sierra) to claim the Reserve Champion Ridden Part Welsh N.E. 12.2hh award.

Caroline Allin rode her 'Talinga Park Enchanted' (Rosnaree Capricorn/Cardi Out To Lunch) to win the class for Ridden Section C Mare and be declared Reserve Champion Ridden Section C..

Kasey Tozer rode Maureen Scott's 'Bookra Sovereign Edition' (Wingana Welsh Flyer/Barnon Graceful Edition) to win the class of Ridden Welsh C Stallion and go on to take out the Champion Ridden Welsh C award.

Mariece Paine had a super day with her hunter, 'Pen Nant Gallant Bess' (Durrant Gentleman Jack/Eileen Donan Dancer). Earlier in the day they took out the Champion Welsh Cob Mare award and backed that up in the afternoon by also claiming the Champion Ridden Welsh Cob title.

Narelle Williams rode her 'Kittani Hippy Chick' (Kittani Kalahari/Suburban Miss) to win the class for Ridden Part Welsh Mare/Gelding Over 14.2hh. They went on to be declared Reserve Champion Ridden Part Welsh Over 13.2hh.

Although far from an outsider, Tamara Lee was delighted to take out the Champion Ridden Part Welsh Over 13.2hh award again with her well performed, 'Wesswood Seduction' (Bolagamy Valour/Let's Surprise).

Kylie Stocco did the honours with Tracey Burnside's 'Karanga Rockafella' (Imperial Tennessee/Karanga Ladybird) that took second place in the class for Welsh Pony Stallion 4-8 Years.

Mark Brown was up early this morning to claim the Welsh Cob Stallion 8 Years and Over class with his and Denise Brown's impressive, 'Alcheringa Warlock' (Llanarth Jack Flash imp/Wingana Amanda Jones).

Sabina Helmgens took out the Welsh Cob Champion Stallion and the Supreme Welsh Cob award with her wonderful, 'Grenwood Shakespeare' (Penybank Domain imp/Grenwood Stalker).

An now for something smaller. Mark Brown is justifiably proud of his brilliant Welsh Cob foal, as yet un named by Indi Llewellan out of the Open Cob Broodmare winner, 'Indi Zeta-Jones'.

Wes and Jenny Gardiner's beautiful, 'Karanga Paris' (Imperial Tennessee/Karanga Moondust) shown by Lisa Mooney (nee Gardiner) won the Open Broodmare class and was declared Champion Welsh Pony Mare and Supreme Welsh Pony Exhibit.. The Gardiners also claimed Reserve Mare with 'Karanga Aurora' also by Tennessee out of Karanga Rainbow.

Ashley Porter needed to be very scopey indeed to keep up with Teresa Townsend's Champion Stallion and Supreme Section C (Cob Type) Exhibit, 'Cataraqui Hasufel' (Nattai Sprig/Cataraqui Arielle).

Teresa Townsend took the reins of Wendy Parson's beautiful 'Barakee Brocade' (Nattai Gwydion/Nattai Medwen) that took second place in the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Open Broodmare.

Tina Taylor's beautiful, 'Nattai Superstar' (Nattai Madog/Nattai Lady Jane) can clearly see the finish line. Shown as always by Gary Le Brocq, Superstar was declared Champion Welsh Mountain Pony Mare.

The Ripple Brook Stud's 'Ripple Brook Cupid' (Weston Park Piccolo/Ripple Brook Upmarket) won the Welsh Mountain Pony Foal class from , as you can imagine a very cute field. Cupid was show with great care by Emily Pearn and went on to be declared Best Foal.

Trent Forge took out the reserve Welsh Mountain Pony Mare Championship with Rosaleigh Burgess' mare 4-8 Years winner, 'Tegwyn Tango Lily' (Weston Park Song and Dance Man/Tegwyn Tiger Lily)

The precocious Best Welsh Mountain Pony Youngstock Exhibit, Tina Taylor's 'Nattai River Shining Light' (Nattai Calypso/Nattai Luminous II) ran away with Trent Forge to take out the Supreme Welsh Mountain Pony Exhibit and Best Young Stock.

Emily Pearn puts the Ripple Brook Stud's, 'Ripple Brook Uno' (Imperial Maestro/Ripple Brook Peggoty) through his paces to claim the Champion Welsh Mountain Pony Gelding award.

Chris and Janet Murphy's 'Keyi Carbine' ( Weston Park Congo/Keyi Corn Bunting) shown by Daniel Harvey, was declared Champion Welsh Pony Gelding and went on to take out the Supreme Welsh Gelding award.

A and T Heffernan's 'Nawarrah Park Astro Boy' (Synod Aristocrat imp/Endymion Allison) shown by Caroline Purcell was declared Champion Welsh C Gelding.

Daniel Harvey's lovely, 'Imperial Pop Gun' (Imperial Boston/Imperial Polluanne) won the Yearling Colt class and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Welsh Mountain Pony Colt.

Dimity Chalmers rode Anne Cochrane's 'Wyann Little Red Riding Hood' (Wyann Jiminy Cricket/Wyann Pocahontas) to win the class for Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Mare/Filly.

This has to be a match made in heaven. Ebonie Lee is making the most of her new pony, 'Lykanarrow Ladysmith' (Stanton Park Sideshow/Thorpeville Ladybird). They took second place in the Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Gelding class and went on to claim the Reserve Champion Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony award.

The Clark Family's 'Naturi Merlin' (Trentlyn Perrier/Carlyle Marigold) won the class for Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion.

The delightful combination of Sheree Pengelly and 'Murrydale Park Calum' (Dalgangle Selwyn/Bambury Part Time) exhibited by Mayger/Pengelly and Holland won the strong class for Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Gelding and went on to claim the Champion Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony title.
