Paula Heffernan from Yarra Glen rode her, 'Gold Secrets' to third place in the Ring 8 class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

A busy Chanele Hunter rode Nathan Wilson's 'Waltz' to take second place in the Ring 8 class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Sarah Ferguson is pictured in the Ring 9 Small Galloway class riding her mother, Barbara Ferguson's, 'Elite H T Extravaganza'.

Successful young rider, Maddy Tabak won the Ring 9 Small Galloway (14-14.2hh) class riding her, eye-catching, 'Newington Replica'.

Sheree Lee rounded off a great day for the Lee girls by taking out the Mormoot (TB Stud) Trophy for Smartest On Parade Over 18 Years riding her, 'Tudor Park Gilded'.

Between them these gentlemen have spent 168 years with the Whittlesea Show Society. L-R Ringmasters, Jack Edon (and legendary showjumping rider) and Jim Clements.

International jumping rider, Jamie Kermond is pictured riding the Colman mare, 'Colthaga' in the jump off of the 1.25m class. The jumping really hots up tomorrow and the 150th Whittlesea Show is host to the 2009 Victorian Showjumping Championships.

Local Whittlesea rider, Russell Johnstone took fifth place in the strong 1.25m class riding his, 'Cruising Down Under'.

Evergreen Des Gleeson took third place in the 1.25m class riding Leeson Sirret's, 'Wild Honey'. Des won the class riding, 'Black Marlin'.

Tamara Lee had a busy and successful day. She is pictured riding her, 'Wesswood Seduction' on their way to victory in the Smartest On Parade for Riders 12-18 Years.

Sarah Dempsey rode her (relatively) new mount, 'Kooyong Carousel' to win the Ring 8 class for Hack 15-15.2hh. Readers may remember the lovely mare shown by Flanders and Burslem and ridden by Paul Burslem. Sarah and Carousel look to have formed a very successful partnership.

Rianna Percy rode her mother, Peta Plozza's, Barrington Park Delta Rose' to second place in the class for Smartest On Parade Riders 12-18 Years. Earlier in the day, 'Delta Rose' was declared Champion Led Galloway.

Sally Turner is pictured riding her, 'Rhyl Finishing Touch' in the Ring 9 Small Galloway class.

The handsome Blake Gallagher from Eden Park took third place in the class for Smartest On Parade, Riders 12-18 Years.

Judged on the Main Arena, Sophie Fox took out the class for Smartest On Parade for Riders 6-8 Years.

Andrew Lamb, all the way from Sale in Gippsland rode his, 'Dennison Park Silky' to fifth place in a competitive 1.25m class on the main arena.

Briony Payne took out the Ring 7 Large Pony Reserve Championship with her well performed, 'Sanlirra Prediction'.

Joel Pearce rode his, 'Manildra Maximus' to claim the Ring 8 Small Pony Reserve Championship.

Abby Heffer is making this quite a habit and was declared Champion Intermediate Rider.

A busy Clint Bilson rode his , 'Attenborough' to win the Ring 7 class for Hack 15.2-16hh.

Georgia Cleeland from Mansfield rode her well performed, 'Invermay Striking Bob' to claim the Ring 7 Reserve Hack Championship.

Christelle Rowley and 'CR Exclusive' from Mornington were one of the many hacking combinations to attend the busy 150th Whittlesea Show.

Helen Heagney gave up a day at the races to attend the 150th Whittlesea Show with her well performed, 'Bally Doyle'. They won the Ring 8 class for Hack 15.2-16hh and went on to be declared Reserve Champion.

Alexandra Berwick from Upper Pakenham rode her, 'Secret Agent' to third place in the Ring 8 class for Hack 15.2-16hh.

Nicole Saligari is pictured with her ex racehorse, 'Bushido', (and he raced under that name) working out tin the strong Ring 8 class for Hack 15.2-16hh.

Successful rider, Rebecca Groen took fourth place in the Ring 8 class for Hack 15.2-16hh riding her, 'Gift'.

Darryl Hayes, sporting an informal, but practical hat. led Carmen Nowak's 'Kolbeach Aster' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Gemstone imp) to claim the Superme Led Riding Pony award. The pony is destined to head north to Darwin to his owner.

Brynie Lee from Eden Park took out the Junior Rider Under 12 Years Championship.

Lisa McCann from the Geelong area rode her impressive, 'Dignified' to win the Over 16.2hh class and go on to be declared Champion Ring 9 Hack. A little later in the day and on the green, grassy Main Arena Lisa claimed the Champion of Champions Hack Award with her lovely big eight year old by Woodman.

Sarah McCormick rode the McMahon and McCormick nomination, 'Leanda Hello There', a full brother to Hello Dolly, to win the Ring 7 Pony 13-13.2hh class and go on to claim the Large Pony Championship.
