South Australian, Megan Jones looks good at the Eventing Vet Inspection. Megan and her Adelaide Four Star winner,'Kirby Park Irish Jester' have been selected in the Australian Team, along with Andrew Hoy, 'Master Monarch', Sonya Johnson, 'Ringwould Jaguar' and Clayton Fredericks with 'Ben Along Time'. Shane Rose with 'All Luck' and Phillip Dutton and Connaught will run as Individuals.

Earlier in the show this horse was pictured loose at the dressage trot up. A couple of days have made a difference with a delighted Alexandra Korelova scoring 66.54% with her stallion, 'Balagur', for 31st place in the Grand Prix.

Isabell Werth was delighted with 'Satchmo' the last of the German Team to compete. Their score of 75% for equal third place in the Grand Prix, secured the Gold medal for the German Team.

No this movement was not in the Grand Prix test., Portugese rider, Miguel Duarte sits rather well as the Lusitano mare, 'Oxalis Da Meia', registers her disapproval.

Karen Tebar from France rode the Hanoverian mare by the TB, Forrest, 'Falada' to score 70.83% and take 11th place in the Grand Prix.

Hoping and praying, 'Chatham Park Jac's' groom, Helen Bray and owner, Nerida Downes watch anxiously as 'Jac' does his test.

Rachael Sanna rode a very tactful test with the eight year-old Jazz gelding, Chatham Park Jac' for a score of 62.50%. After quite an exciting start, Jac settled and produced some good work, scoring 8's for his lovely two time changes.

Debbie McDonald and her Brentano I mare, and WEG 2002 herione, 'Brentina' were not on top form. However they earned 71.41% for ninth place and helped the USA to the bronze medal.

It is interesting to see that many of the dressage horses are weatring fly bonnets. Do they have ear plugs in? We will try and find out. Here Austrian rider, Victoria Max- Theurer scored a solid 69.16% with the Oldenberg gelding, 'Falcao' for 19th place.

Dutch rider, Edward Gal needed to get over 77% for the Netherlands to overtake the Germans. Sadly for the Dutch he did not. However he earned 71.37% and tenth place and a Silver Team medal with his wonderful 'Group 4 Securicor Lingh' by Flemmingh.

Russian rider, Elens Kalinina is delighted with her 'Royal Black Label' who scored 67.06% for 24th place in the Grand Prix.

Local girl, Nadine Capellmann thrilled the crowd with her ten year-old Espri Gelding, 'Elvis'. Third out for Germany they earned 72.09% for fifth place in the Grand Prix.

Portugese rider, Daniel Pinto rode the Lusitano stallion, 'Galopin de la Font' to score 62.79% in the Grand Prix.

Hubert Perring from France looked colourful in his millitary uniform. He rode the Selle Francais gelding, 'Diabolo St Maurice' to score 66.12% for 37th place in the Grand Prix.

Emma Hindle did very well for Great Britain scoring 70.14% riding her Wenzel I stallion, Lancet for 13th place in the Grand Prix.

Australian Team Member, Kristy Oatley produced a super test with her Quattro B stallion, 'Quando Quando' to score 70.08% for 15th place in the Grand Prix.

The Australian cheer squad gave Kristy and 'Quando Quando' a rousing cheer as they left the arena.

US rider, Steffan Peters produced a strong Team test riding the Floristan I gelding, 'Floriano' for sixth place individually and help the Team take the bronze medal.

Thirty-two thousand people attended the show today. here are some of them.

Italian rider, Claudia Montarani waves to the responsive crowd as she leaves the arena riding her Donnerhall gelding, 'Don Vittorio'.They finished the Grand Prix in 42nd place with 64.70%.

Spanish hero, Ignacio Rambla with the wonderful Andalusian stallion, 'Distinguido 2'. They finished in 37th place with 66.12%.

The famous Fin, Kyra Kyrklund, rode the Swedish gelding, 'Max' by Master 850 to finish in 12th place with 70.62%.

Anky Van Grunsven needed a sensational score with her Olympic and World Cup Champion, 'Keltec Salinero'. A couple of small mistakes in the test kept the score down to 75% for equal third place in the Grand Prix.

Swiss combination, Silvia Ikle and 'Salieri', her 12 year old gelding by Sinclair, finished the Grand Prix in 20th place with68.75%.

Well known Australian traveller and equestrian identity, Sally Francis, enjoyes the show.
