The Scholarship and Mentoring Program aims to help talented young Australians achieve at the highest level of sport, by providing support and funding for a period of 12 months.

Australian junior athletes (U/21 as at 31st December 2018) are invited to apply for the Sport Australia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) Scholarship & Mentoring Program.
The Scholarship will provide encouragement and funding for 14 months to help five young Australians achieve at the highest level of their sport.

One-on-one personal mentoring by an Inducted SAHOF Member
$5,000 sporting expenses grant
On stage presentation of the Scholarship at the SAHOF Induction & Awards Gala Dinner at Palladium at Crown Melbourne, 11th October

Eligibility & Criteria
Nominations are open to all sportspersons who are:
Under the age of 21 years at 31st December, of the year application is made
An Australian citizen
Participating in a sport recognised by the Australian Sports Commission.
Competing at a minimum of international junior level in their chosen sport (where applicable)
A member of the Australian junior or senior squad/team in their chosen sport (where applicable)
Previous Scholarship recipients are encouraged to re-apply providing they meet the Scholarship & Mentoring Program eligibility criteria.
