Alleged sabotage sees Kilmore race meeting abandoned

Thursday’s meeting at Kilmore has been abandoned after an alleged sabotage attempt saw two steel stakes driven into the track.

Racing Victoria stewards called the meeting off at 1pm after discovering two 40cm metal star pickets around the 400m mark.

After determining the stakes did not belong to track maintenance staff, stewards opted to call the meeting off.
