Simone Pearce, an Australian who achieved success at the World Young Horse Championships and competing on both sides of the Atlantic, is leaving Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark after three years to return to Germany to develop her own training business.
Simone, 27 years old, decribed as “amazing” three years with Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark that included being on the team that launched a training and sales operation in Wellington, Florida this year. In 2017 on Helgstrand horses, Simone was the first Australian to qualify in both the world five and six-year-old finals, a year after becoming only the second Australian to ever qualify for a final when she made it with Fine Time that placed 11th in the five-year-old championship.
“After three amazing years at Helgstrand Dressage the time has come to say goodbye to Denmark and the wonderful group of people I’ve had the pleasure of working with here and welcome some very exciting new opportunities as I move back to Germany to start a more independent career with some very amazing partners,” she said in a statement to dressage-news.com.
