Ben Currie horse samples cleared of prohibited substances

EACH of the seven horses tested in the Weetwood day raid of Ben Currie’s Toowoomba stable have been cleared of having any prohibited substances in their system.

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission alleged the seven horses had been illegally treated on the morning of the race, and at subsequent inquiries Currie’s father Mark was disqualified for two years and stablehand Greg Britnell for 18 months after being found guilty of race-day treatments.
