A big day of competition has started at Australia's biggest international dressage event, the OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI3* at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC).
The Flexible Fit FEI Junior Team Competition CDI-J started in SIEC's indoor arena at 8am, with round one of the Young Horse and Pony classes also kicking off outside.

A highlight of today's competition will be the OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA FEI Grand Prix CDI3*, which takes place from 2.30pm in the indoor arena.
Day one action at Sydney CDI saw Gitte Donvig and the imported mare Harmonie W take out the Woodside Warmbloods Prix St Georges CDN competition with 70.35%. Harmonie W is owned by Mary and Robert Hanna, and is by Hotline.
The Pryde's EasiFeed Intermediate II Competition CDN was also decided on day one, with Queensland-based rider Emma Flavelle-Watts riding Cabaret C to victory with 70.06%. The German-bred mare is owned by Kaz Roe, and is by Canto.
The OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI3* takes place from until Saturday, May 4. Tickets are available from the venue at SIEC.
