Black Caviar gives birth to fifth foal, a filly by I Am Invincible

Legendary sprinter Black Caviar has welcomed her fifth foal with the overnight birth of a filly by champion sire I Am Invincible.

The foal, who arrived in the early hours of Monday morning, is Black Caviar's fourth filly (and third consecutive filly), with recent maiden winner Prince of Caviar the only colt among her progeny.

Black Caviar's first foal Oscietra, a daughter of Exceed and Excel, won two of five starts before being retired to stud, while her second foal, the Team Hawkes-trained Prince of Caviar (by Sebring), recently broke through at Bendigo at his fourth start after finishing a narrow runner-up at his previous two.
