LONDON, Dec.13, 2023–Charlotte Dujardin and her championship medal-winning mount Imhotep were clear victors in the World Cup Grand Prix Wednesday with the British partnership’s third Grand Prix score above 80% in the last six months.
Charlotte and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding were awarded 81.761% that included three marks of 10 and numerous 8s and 9s in the pair’s first outing since leading Britain to team gold and claiming individual and freestyle bronzes at the European Championships in September. The duo were also on the silver medal squad at the 2022 World Championships.
Charlotte “Lottie” Fry on Everdale, the sire of Imhotep, was runner-up on 77.435%.
Lottie rode the 14-year-old KWPN stallion to team bronze at the Tokyo Olympics and the same year was on the British team to take silver at the European Championships.
