Fifteen Months after the Inferno, Sönke Rothenberger's Luna Returns Home

Fifteen months after the inferno that wiped out the equestrian centre, Gestut Erlenhof, of the Rothenberger family, the 7-year old mare Luna has returned home in Bad Homberg, Germany, to a rebuilt stable, almost fully recovered from her injuries.

On 28 February 2019, Sönke and Sanneke Rothenberger were woken up in the middle of the night when they noticed that their barn was on fire. Parents Sven and Gonnelien were with daughter Semmieke at the CDI Lier in Belgium.
