Geraldine will take one year off due to injury

Ingrid Klimke's number one Grand Prix horse Geraldine will be taking a year off to recover from injury.

The 10-year old Rhinelander mare Geraldine is by Furst Grandios out of Casablanca (by Tolstoi). She is owned by Klimke in partnership with the breeder Ulrich Zeising and Canadian owner Faith Berghuis.

Geraldine made her Grand Prix debut at the 2017 CDI Munich Indoor last Novemeber, where she finished second in the Grand Prix (72.520%) and fifth in the Special (69.823%).
