Hawkesbury Show 2018 sees big entries for showjumping

More than 200 riders took part in the jumping events over the three-day Hawkesbury Show, jumping excellent courses designed by the internationally qualified Mark Atkins from Oakville.

Mark’s courses and the colourful equipment from Jumping NSW created great jumping over the weekend.

The huge atmosphere at the show adds another dimension to the show jumping and certainly a test for the lesser experienced horses and riders.

Andrew Inglis from Maroota won the featured Hawkesbury Grand Prix Championship sponsored by www.Showbags.com.au on Saturday riding Licaviv, a lovely mare Andrew bred and trained.

Jennifer Wood from Cudal won the Hawkesbury Mini Prix Championship sponsored by Showbag Warehouse riding Cassandro B, and Victorian Dominique Stevens took out the Hawkesbury Amateur Championship riding Yalambi’s Harvard.

Maverick Miles from Pitt Town won the www.showbags.com.au 1.25m riding Emcee Vagabond, Andrew Edwards from Sackville took out the 1.05 class riding Precious, Ashely

Cutler from Grose Vale won the 1.05m and the 90cm class on Sunday morning riding Jade Park Fever.
