Isabell Werth & Don Johnson Win Munich CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle

MUNICH, Germany, May 13, 2018–Isabell Werth rode Don Johnson, her world No. 6 mount, to victory in the CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday.

Isabell and the 17-year-old scored 83.300 per cent for the 48th victory in 108 starts. The pair are in the eighth year of Big Tour competition that have included European Championships in 2015 and 2013 as well as the World Cup Final in 2013.

Dorothee Schneider and Sammy Davis Jr., partners on the German team in the 2017 European Championships and this year’s World Cup Final, placed second on 81.600 per cent.

Benjamin Werndl on Daily Mirrow was third on 77.250 per cent to complete a German sweep of the top three places.
