Ricky MacMillan, EA Chair on behalf of the board says:
Our thoughts are with those affected by the horrific bushfires being experienced in so many areas of NSW, QLD and WA at the moment.
We hope that you can keep your horses, animals, families and yourselves, safe.
Remember:
• Horses need a large open space to avoid bushfires
• You may need to consider moving your horses to a safer location as a precaution
• Remove all gear, including rugs
• Seek treatment for burns quickly
If you have access and can find time, please use our Facebook to just ‘check in’ and/or contact your state branch if you require their assistance.
Although we don’t live in the same regions, we are part of the one community. Concerns for your well-being are shared by all.
