Damien Oliver paid tribute to the late Graham Salisbury after winning the race named in his honour at Caulfield on Saturday, claiming the former clerk of the course will be fondly remembered.
Jockeys among a number of other racing participants on course observed a minute’s silence on the track before the first event and afterwards, Oliver, who rode the $9.50 opening winner Saltpeter, said Salisbury was a great contributor to racing through his deeds as clerk of the course and with, of course, Subzero.
