Rowan Willis long-listed for WEG

Willis was named on Equestrian Australia’s long-list for the World Equestrian Games to be held September in North Carolina alongside Edwina Tops-Alexander, Scott Keach, Jamie Kermond and Billy Raymont.

The former The Armidale School student is based in the United Kingdom and has had great success in the UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, Morocco and Slovakia winning Grand Prix from one star shows to four star shows.

Two weeks ago Willis and his top horse, Blue Movie won the Longines five star grand prix event in Florida worth US $265,000. Willis is in contention for the team alongside Edwina Tops-Alexander, Scott Keach, Billy Raymont and Jamie Kermond.

The short-list will be announced in May.
