Ryan Wood was on point in the weekend, eventing at Tryon, USA, where he rode three horses in two classes.
He was all over the CCI2-S class and his star horse of the weekend had to be CCI2-S ride ‘Ruby’, the zippy 10- year-old chestnut mare.
After the dressage on day one, Ryan and Ruby found themselves in second place, with a score of 33.00, in between American riders.
Show jumping day was next, which saw a place shuffle. 4 faults in their round saw Ryan and Ruby bumped down to third, sitting with a score of 37.00 ahead of Cross-Country.
Ryan and Ruby turned it on for the final phase, going clear for the win. They took out the title on 37.00.
Ryan’s other CCI*-S ride ‘Chusinmyconfession’ came to the party too. After a score of 34.20 after dressage and 4 faults in show jumping, a clear cross country round saw the combination take third place in the same class with a score of 39.00.
