Stablehand Millie Thompson injured after horse reportedly steps on hand

A stablehand has been taken to hospital after being injured at the Tamworth track this morning.

Millie Thompson, a stablehand for trainer Craig Martin, was injured after a horse reportedly stepped on her hand at trackwork earlier this morning.

Thompson was taken to Tamworth hospital for scans and further treatment.
