On the 30 September the inaugural Tops International Auction took place where Stal Tops donated all the proceeds from the first Foal (Chacco Blue x Zantana Z) sold that evening to young Dutch singer, Emma Kok's foundation, Gastrostars.
The foal sold for €50,000 and every single euro will go straight to the foundation which funds research for stomach paralysis. The Tops International Auction, witnessed an exceptional and emotional moment when Emma opened the auction with a spectacular performance before watching the Foal take center stage and the bidding commence. The €50,000 donation will significantly aid Gastrostars' mission to provide assistance and resources to individuals battling gastrointestinal disorders.
Gastrostars, founded by the talented young Dutch singer Emma Kok, has been making waves with its dedication to raising awareness and offering support to those affected by gastrointestinal issues. Emma Kok, herself a remarkable rising star in the Dutch music industry, has faced her own struggles with such health concerns and has channeled her passion for music and her personal experiences into creating a foundation that can truly make a difference.
Mr. Jan Tops, the founder of Stal Tops, expressed his enthusiasm for this act of generosity, saying, "We are proud to support Emma Kok's Gastrostars foundation in its noble cause. We are delighted to help raise so much money and we hope this is only the start to make it a big charity for the future. Emma's passion and dedication to helping those in need are truly inspiring, and we are honored to be a part of this endeavor."
Emma Kok, the young singer and founder of Gastrostars, was overwhelmed with gratitude upon receiving the €50,000 from the foal that sold. She commented: “I’m so thankful that there has been a foal auctioned for my foundation ‘Gastrostars’. With the amazing amount of €50.000 I hope to change patients' lives by making them happier and hopefully giving them a brighter future! I want to thank Jan Tops and his team, and my friend Britt Dekker for making this possible and for this amazing opportunity. I hope that this little horse which also has become a part of my life, has a very lovely future. I hope to see her once again jumping around in the arena.”
Accompanied by TV presenter and long-term friend of Emma's, Britt Deckker commented: “I am very happy that the foal raised €50.000,- for Emma’s Foundation. I am also very grateful to Jan Tops for his support towards Emma's foundation and I hope that many more donations will be made towards this charity. With more donations, more research can be done about this disease and help others in the future.”
