Keeley Thomas rode Ultra Williams' well performed, 'Warranwood Nasa' to win the class for Child's Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to take out the Child's Galloway Reserve Championship.

Ella O'Doherty was declared Champion Intermediate rider today riding her mother Lauren and her own, 'Braeleigh Evander'. Later in the day, Francesca Christie stepped aboard to win the class for Galloway Gelding 14-14.2hh.

Rachel Addison rode her 'Prima Donna' to win the class for Novice Show Hunter 15.2-16hh and claim the 2018 Melbourne Royal Show Best Novice Show Hunter award.

Always happy to be in the saddle, Jessica Dertell rode the Future Farms nomination, 'Valerius Waltermeyer' by Highaven Park Welt's Emperor to win the class for Novice Show Hunter Over 16.2hh.

Ebonie Lee rode Tamara Lee and Graham Elliott's nomination, 'Kolbeach Holly's Knowing' to win the class for Child's Galloway 14.2-15hh and claim the Child's Galloway Championship

Jayle Kerr rode his, 'DP Standing Ovation' to take fourth place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Georgia Grenwell rode her well performed Rotspon gelding, 'Rotsdom' to win the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Matt Snell rode his , 'Headley Park Black Label' to win the class for Gent's Galloway.

Ali Berwick rode Jessica Fraser's former National Champion Galloway, 'Royalwood Concerto' to win the class for Open Galloway 14.2-15hh and go on to claim the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Galloway Championship..

Kelsea Bullivant's, 'Warrawee Double Edition' took third place in the class for Open Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Briony Payne rode Judy Ivory's, 'KP Simply Exquisite' to take second place in the class for Galloway Mare 14-15hh.

Elizabeth Krog rode her well performed, 'Warrawee Diamantee' by Jive Magic (imp) to take fourth place in the very strong class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh.

Clint Bilson rode John De Marco's Thoroughbred, 'JD Montreal' by Zabeel to take sixth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh.

Ava Halloran has made an impressive step up from ponies to big horses, and we mean very big. She rode her Shiraz Black gelding, 'Equest Liberate' to take fifth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh. Ava went on to claim the Child's Show Hunter Reserve Championship.

Shelley Howard rode the Burns, Banks and Gore-Johnson nomination, 'Wideacre Prince George' to take fifth place in the class for Galloway Gelding 14-14.2hh.

Abby Heffer rode her lovely Royal Hit mare, 'AKS Rumour Has It' to win the class for Show Hunter Mare Over 15hh.

Andrea Merry rode her super Quaterback gelding, 'Quantador' to take third place in the class for Show Hunter Gelding 15-16hh.

Jess Stones had to brave the changeable Melbourne weather, but nonetheless won the class for Show Hunter Gelding 15-16hh riding Wendy Stafford's, 'Coldstream Ultimate' by Uswin (Ger).

Ty Zoontjens led Michelle Labahn's beautiful, 'Rolex II' to take second place in the Gent's section of the Racing Victoria Led Thoroughbred Fashions at the Show. To be eligible the horse had to have raced.

Jumps jockey, Tom Ryan did the honours with Jemima Draper, 'Da Vinci Code' and ran away with the Gents section of the Racing Victoria OTT Fashions at the Show.

Stephanie Barrington never misses an opportunity to dress up and she certainly looked ready for the Spring Carnival today. She is pictured with her, 'Dior' by Zabeel during the judging of the Racing Victoria OTT Fashions at the Show competition.

Kathleen Mullan certainly looked the part and did the honours with the Mullan Family's beautifully prepared, 'Davinity' by Oratorio. They were worthy winners of the Racing Victoria OTT Fashions At the Show led competition.

There were smiles all around for Fashions at the Show entrant and beautifully dressed, Rachelle O'Connor, her horse, 'DP Cobalt' and horse wrangler if necessary, Nathan Hayes.

An elegant Katie Ramsay is pictured with her, 'Inafrenzy' by Sharkbite on their way to second place in the Racing Victoria OTT Fashions at the Show competition.

Sarah Ryan won the class for Galloway Gelding 14.2-15hh with her beautiful and successful, 'Holly's Galaxy' and on the strength of their performance at the show, they took out the Grand Parade Trophy for Most Successful Galloway.

Michael Christie rode Joh Bailey's, 'Silkwood Bluebird' to claim the Best Novice Galloway award and they went on to win the class for Galloway Mare 14-15hh and take second place in the Open 14-14.2hh.

A delighted Fiona Walsh won the class for Lady's Galloway with her, 'Langtree Royal Affair' and went on to take out the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Galloway Reserve Championship.

Greg Mickan rode the Romsey Park, Terry van Heythuysen and Julie Conti nomination, 'Dreamtime Lomaxx' by Xzibit to win the class for Open Show Hunter 16-16.2hh.

Jess Stones rode Matilda Longbottom's impressive, 'Powerplay' to third place in the class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh. Later in the day Rhys Stones (pictured) stepped aboard Powerplay to win the Gents Hunter.

Adam Oliver rode Rebecca Crane's Falsterbo gelding, 'Federer' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh and go on to be declared 2018 Melbourne Royal Show Champion Show Hunter.

Abby Lovell from Queensland rode her super, 'Divavalli Royal Rory' by Royal Rubin (imp) to win the class for Open Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Back from her travels, Brynie Lee rode her 'SLM Valentino' by Walton to win the class for Lady's Show Hunter.

Allanah Richards rode her Fisherman's Friend gelding, 'Ribbleton France' to win the class for Show Hunter Gelding Over 16hh and went on to claim the Show Hunter Reserve Championship. France later went on to claim the Child's Show Hunter Championship.

It might have been a case of "frock up and freeze" as an icy wind swept across the Melbourne Showgrounds mid afternoon. However, a group of enthusiastic young women got in to the spirit of the Racing Victoria OTT Fashions at the Show competition this afternoon. Fifty points were awarded for Thoroughbred Characteristics, 25 for Conformation and Soundness and 25 for General Appearance. Kelsey Bennett and 'Undermine' were certainly one of the contenders.

Taylah Hutchinson from NSW rode her, 'Burnbrae Park Talisman' to take second place in the class for Child's Galloway 14-14.2hh. Later in the day, the typey Galloway won the strong class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh.
