A busy Ebonie Lee rode Ashlea Ryan's, 'Dunelm Something Special' by Dainhill Octave to win the class for Novice Pony 13.2-14hh and go on to claim the Best Novice Large Pony award.

Rhiannon Pearce's, 'Silkwood Singing The Blues' took second place in the class for Novice Pony 13.2-14hh.

The Monrose Park nomination, 'Monrose Park Playforleigh' by Royalwood Boy Soprano and ridden by Jess Dalgleish took fourth place in the classes for Novice and Pony 13.2-14hh.

L and L Smith's nomination, 'Brayside Miss Divine' took second place in the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh.

Chase Jackson from Queensland did a splendid job aboard his well performed, 'Mirinda Princess Perfect' to take third place in the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh.

Adam Oliver rode Kate Kyros', 'Braeburn Oscar de la Renta' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Pony 13-13.2hh.

The unstoppable Annabelle Richardson rode her mother, Emma's super, 'Harrington Park Symphony' to win the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh.

Michelle Paynter rode Naomi Landmeter's, 'Rokewood Tiger Moth' to win the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh and go on to claim the Best Novice Small Pony award. They continued on to take second place in the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh.

Zohe Willison rode her own and Hayley Willison's, 'Hamlot Parl Holy's Silk' to seventh place in the strong class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh.

Successful young rider, Kate Kyros from Adelaide rode her very well performed, 'Owendale Beesting' to win the class for Child's Show Hunter Pony 12.2hh and Under. They went on to take out the Child's Show Hunter Pony Reserve Championship. Beesting went on to claim the "Pudd" McLean Memorial Trophy for the Most Successful Show Hunter Pony.

Gracie Hunphrys rode her delightful and typey, 'Karlana Spring Chatter' to take third place in the strong class for Child's Show Hunter Pony N/E 12.2hh.

Amelia Baines rode her, 'Oak Park Serengeti' to second place in the class for Child's Show Hunter Pony N/E 12.2hh.

Tamara Lee and Jessica Sharp's nomination, the typey, Imperial Vagabond' took fourth place in the class for Child's Show Hunter N/E 12.2hh.

Olivia Carter rode Brooke Carter's, 'NSJ Town Crier' to take second place in the class for Open Show Hunter Pony 12.2-14hh.

Dallas Merry rode her mother, Andrea Merry's, 'Cimeron Poprock' to win the class for Childs Show Hunter 12.2-14hh and claim the Child's Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Marcia Beard from the Western District of Victoria has had many successful visits to Melbourne Royal and this year was no exception. She is pictured aboard her Gelding N/E 12.2hh winner, 'Rhyl Monarque' (Turberry Tom Kitten/Rhyl Matinee) that went on to be declared 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Small Pony Champion.

All the way from Port Lincoln in South Australia, jockey in demand, Bianca Evans rode Elizabeth Daly's, 'Royal Oak Figurine' to win the class for Pony Mare N/E 12.2hh.

At the beginning of a successful day for Daizi Plumb, she rode her father, Dale Plumb's nomination, the well performed, 'Bordershow Boy Scout' to win the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh.

Sabrina Gilmour rode her, ''Woranora Nefertiti' to win the class for Open Pony 11.2hh and Under.

Poppi Plumb rode the well performed, 'DP Gigolo' to second place in the class for Pony Gelding N/E 12.2hh and when given the chance to work for Small Pony Reserve Champion, she grabbed the opportunity and secured the title.

Rebecca gerber rode her super Show Hunter Pony, 'Loriot Breaking Dawn' to win the class for Show Hunter Pony Gelding 12.2-14hh and then rode away with the Large Show Hunter Pony Reserve Championship.

What a great day Izabella McIntyre had with Blaine Perkins', 'Mirinda Fortitude'. The Best Novice Large Show Hunter Pony went on to win the class for Open Show Hunter 13.2-14hh and the typey pony, another by Mirinda Field of Dreams, went on to be declared Champion Large Show Hunter Pony.

Poppi Plumb stepped aboard the beautiful, 'Calvin Park Tiny Dancer' to take second place in the class for Open Pony 13-13.2hh.

Sarah Allsopp rode Mia Heinrich's 'Regalbrook Razzle Dazzle' to take third place in the strong class for Novice Pony 13.2-14hh. They went one better in the Open class for second place.

Shayleigh Joblin rode Kim Joblin's, 'Maxwell Matador Royale' to take sixth place in the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Jess Stones rode the charming, 'Owendale Valencia' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Pony 12-12.2hh and go on to claim the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Small Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Adam Oliver rode Christy Pollock's well named, 'Langtree Just Devine' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Pony N/E 12hh and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Small Show Hunter Pony.

Kate Kyros rode Chris Lawrie and Christine Comley's, 'Rosedale Simplicity' (Turberry Tom kitten/Colbeach Simone UK) to win the class for Open Pony 12.2-13hh.

Eliza Douglas from Northern NSW rode Kylie Douglas', 'Highcroft Copycat' (Turberry Tom Kitten/LJS Heavens Above) to win the class for Open Pony 13-13.2hh.

Tahlia Young rode Gerg Gerry and Darren Telford's beautiful, 'Whitmere Ethereal' (Turberry Tom Kitten/LJS Heavens Above) to win the class for Show Pony Mare 12.2-14hh and go on to be declared Reserve Champion Large Pony.

If ever there was a pony displaying "show pony qualities" it is 'Mirinda Alabaster' (Mirinda Field of Dreams/Rotherwood Matinge GB). Daizi Plumb rode the beautiful pony to claim the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Fairlight Acres Trophy. They went on to win the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh and claim Alabaster's first Royal Show Champion Large Pony title.
