Melissa Blair from NSW is making her first visit to Melbourne Royal Show. She is delighted with her imported , 'Gigant Z' that took fourth place in the Group C class this morning.

Amanda Madigan rode Helen Chugg's Vivant mare, 'Diamond B Vivienne' to post two super rounds and take fourth place in the hotly contested Mini Prix today.

2017 Melbourne Royal Mini Prix winners, Rhys Stones and ,'Tulara Colmar' came close to making it back to back wins, but the talented young professional rider from NSW had to settle for second place today.

Erin Buswell rode her wonderful imported, 'Quero Quero' to take sixth place in the Mini Prix today.

Successful Victorian professional rider, Russell Johnstone rode Gregor and Sandra McCann's imported stallion, 'Dondersteen' to third place in the strong Mini Prix today.

"Catch me if you can" said Tom McDermott aboard Rory Hovell's home bred, 'Yalambi's Finnigan'. The opposition came close, but they couldn't catch the talented and now very experienced young rider who rode away with the Mini Prix.

What a debut. First out in her first ever World Cup Qualifier, Melissa Blair from NSW posted a super clear aboard her imported Zirocco Blue mare, 'Zidora'. Clear until the very last fence in the second round they finished in a very creditable fifth place.

Katie Lawrie jumped four and clear aboard the typey Lansing stallion, 'Casebrook Lomond' for third place in the 2018 Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

Gippsland dairy farmer, Andrew Lamb is pictured aboard his talented Vivant gelding, 'CP Argento' during the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier today.

In only her second World Cup Qualifier, 18 year old, Jasmine Dennison aboard her careful Australian bred, 'Nicolossi' (Wirragulla Nicklaus/ Clover Flush mare) outrode her older peers and created history by winning the Qualifier with the only double clear. The young rider, who trains with Laurie Lever leads a band of talented young riders emerging as a serious force in domestic showjumping and like some others she has international aspirations.

Another talented young jumping rider, Brooke Langbecker rode her Quidam de Revel/Capitol 1 stallion, 'Quintago 1' to jump four and clear for fourth place in the 2018 Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

James Harvey jumped one of just three first round clears in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier riding his own and Des Russel's Cardento gelding, 'Tyrone VDL. Two down in the second round saw the talented pair finish in tenth place.

Successful Queensland rider, Merrick Ubank jumped four and four aboard his Alimo gelding, 'Alantinus' to take ninth place in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

Seventeen year old, Madeline Sinderberry was part of the dominant young force in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier. She trains with Tulara and Dave Cameron and rode her, 'Oaks Kosmo' (Conquistador/Jalisco B) to post five and clear for sixth place in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

Tom McDermott rode his Diamont de Semilly mare, 'Diamont' to post four and four to take seventh place in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

Aaron Hadlow won the recent Gatton World Cup Qualifier riding his, 'Vahlinvader' Valhalla/Brilliant Invader and today this wonderful combination jumped four and clear to take second place in the Melbourne Royal World Cup Qualifier.

Smiles all round from the Melbourne Royal jumping committee, judges . The four days of jumping only works well with the hard working, passionate committee, the footing declared the best ever and riders from all east coast states and South Australia attending.

Stuart Jenkins is making the most of his opportunity to ride Robbie and Sarah Allen's, 'Blackall Park Penny Lane'. The grey mare is usually ridden by Stuart's wife , Becky, who is on maternity leave. Stuart took fifth place in the hotly contested Mini Prix on the final day of jumping at the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show.
