The always elegant Mark Kenzig made his first appearance on the main arena today. He rode his own nomination, 'Wesswood Supercaste' to take second place in the class for Novice Galloway Hack 14-14.2hh.

Briony Payne rode her own and Cheree Uchtman's 'Sanlirra Talk of the Town' to win the class for Novice Galloway Hack 14-14.2hh. Briony went on to claim the Pangkarra Foods Prize Best Novice Galloway. Pangkarra Foods is actually the new enterprise for Margot Maitland, formerly the principle of Willowcroft Stud for many years.

Successful exhibitor and rider, Margot Haynes is just making a cameo appearance at Adelaide this year. Margot is pictured riding Shelley Pollard's 'Kolbeach Review' to fourth place in the class for Galloway Hack 14-14.2hh.

Tamara Flottman from Nairne in SA worked well to move up the line and take third place in the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Well known Victorian jumping rider and member of the Australian Showjumping Team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, Russell Johnstone, has jumped some good rounds during the show riding his 'Carlo'.

Regular Adelaide competitor, Matt Afford from Mallala in SA rode his 'Kaluna Salute' to take second place in the good Part 3 jump off class first up this morning.

Brooke Campbell jumped a good double clear riding Kaye Mann's delightful Thoroughbred, 'Star Peptalk' to take third place in the part 3 jump off class this morning.

Ally Lamb from Nambrok in Victoria jumped two good clear rounds riding her husband, Andrew's, 'CP Argento'. The gelding by Vivant out of CP Argentina was just out of the money.

Demi Morrison from the Yarra Valley in Victoria rode Barb Begley's, 'Marena Brave Dance' to fourth place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Breanna Duncan-Coward from one Tree Hill in SA ride her 'Corndale Kiss and Tell' to fifth place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Angela Forster from Port Lincoln rode her good working, 'Yindarla Park Icon' to claim the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

A busy Brooke Keir from Canberra had time to get in to costume and the mood to win the class for Period Turnout For Horses and Galloways driving the Keir Family's 'Canberra Park Velvet Queen' pulling an original Studebaker Buggy made in New York. Brook was accompanied by Kelsey Bullivant,

Emily Mann from NSW is pictured making a lovely jump aboard her, 'Kolora Stud Patches' (a former Horse Deals OTT subject) in the Junior One Round class this morning.

Well known and successful South Australian showing exhibitor, Rachel Lawrie won the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh riding her own, 'Lawral Park Keepers'. This combination also took out the Best Novice Hunter Award.

Morgan Lane all the way from West Leederville in WA rode her, 'Redline Classic Edition' to fourth place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Successful young rider, Tess Hughes from Mt Gambier in SA rode Winifred Cock's charming, eye catching and well named 'Sparkie' to take second place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh. A little later in the day Tess claimed a remarkable fifth consecutive Good Hands Championship for Girls/Boys 13-18years.

Jacqui Cox's 'Colthaga' makes a beautiful jump for Jamie Kermond during the John and Rae Brice Grand Prix this afternoon. An uncharacteristic fence down in the second round saw this talented combination finish in fifth place.

Former Champion Hack rider turned showjumping rider, Jess Barton demonstrated great promise riding her imported, 'Lamaz' in the Grand Prix this afternoon. It was probably the toughest track Jess has encountered in her jumping career and it was certainly the toughest track set by course designer, Kevin Hansen thus far. The most troublesome line involved an big oxer, four strides to a sizeable triple bar, five forward strides to a tall vertical over a water tray. Understandably the vertical took its toll.

Sarah Kempe rode her, 'Willowcroft Safari' to third place in the class for Novice Galloway Hack 14.2-15hh.

Sabrina Jaeschke rode her Debbie Taylor-Thies bred, 'TT Evita' to fourth place in the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Lynda Hayes is having a wonderful show. After her Pony success yesterday Lynda rode Pauline Lay's Royal Show debutante, 'Debanlay Madam Butterfly' by Beckworth Rising Magic out of a Thoroughbred mare, to win the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Successful South Australian jumping rider, Kristy Bruhn is pictured riding her home bred Thoroughbred, 'Harbarty' that won the Part 1 One Round class on Saturday and today jumped four and clear in the John and Rae Brice Grand Prix.

Tim Clarke jumped three super clear rounds riding Mardi Grave's massive stallion, 'Belcam Catalyst' by Contango II out of a Monopol mare, to claim the hotly contested John and Rae Brice Grand Prix of Adelaide.

Matthew Snell from NSW rode his own Stunning Hack, 'Pikasso' to take out the Award for Champion Gentleman Rider.

Wayne Field from Mt Gambier took third place in the class for Gentleman Rider 18 Years and Over.

The now legendary Chris Lawrie appeared on the Adelaide arena with yet another lovely Novice hack, although Chris's horses do not stay novice for long. His 'Flying' by Zabeel out of a Testa Rossa mare won the class for Novice Hack 15-15.2hh.

Successful Victorian rider, Courtney Christie rode her own and Carol Haynes' eye catching and good working, 'SLM Mastermind' to second place in the class for Novice Hack 15-15.2hh..
