Briony Payne rode her own and Cheree Uchtman's 'Sanlirra Talk of the Town' to win the class for Novice Galloway Hack 14-14.2hh. Briony went on to claim the Pangkarra Foods Prize Best Novice Galloway. Pangkarra Foods is actually the new enterprise for Margot Maitland, formerly the principle of Willowcroft Stud for many years.

A little later in the day Tess claimed a remarkable fifth consecutive Good Hands Championship for Girls/Boys 13-18years.

Jacqui Cox's 'Colthaga' makes a beautiful jump for Jamie Kermond during the John and Rae Brice Grand Prix this afternoon. An uncharacteristic fence down in the second round saw this talented combination finish in fifth place.

Former Champion Hack rider turned showjumping rider, Jess Barton demonstrated great promise riding her imported, 'Lamaz' in the Grand Prix this afternoon. It was probably the toughest track Jess has encountered in her jumping career and it was certainly the toughest track set by course designer, Kevin Hansen thus far. The most troublesome line involved an big  oxer, four strides to a sizeable triple bar, five forward strides to a tall vertical over a water tray.  Understandably the vertical took its toll.
