Former Champion Hack rider turned showjumping rider, Jess Barton demonstrated great promise riding her imported, 'Lamaz' in the Grand Prix this afternoon. It was probably the toughest track Jess has encountered in her jumping career and it was certainly the toughest track set by course designer, Kevin Hansen thus far. The most troublesome line involved an big oxer, four strides to a sizeable triple bar, five forward strides to a tall vertical over a water tray. Understandably the vertical took its toll.
