Kirsty Johnson's 'Yesterday's Hero' looked good today, during the first round of the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity.

Chris Chugg in action aboard the super impressive stallion, 'Conquistador'. The seven year old by Clinton out of a Heartbreaker mare jumped clear and four to take fourth place in the Bega Cup Grand Prix on Friday evening. The next day, Conquistador jumped double clear to take second place in the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity.

Isaac Reid with 'Asta La Vista' jumped clear in the first round of the P & M Kennedy Tiling and Bega Bobcats Under 14 Junior AM5.

Lane Clarke with his 'Finally Able' during the P & M Kennedy Tiling and Bega Bobcats Under 14 Junior AM5. They clocked the fastest time in the jump off, but on fence down kept them from the placings.

Samara George won the P & M Kennedy Tiling and Bega Bobcats Under 14 Junior AM5 riding 'Golberg' and was fourth with 'Babe'. However, Samara is pictured with another of her three rides, 'Lisa Lee'.

Stephanie MacKillop, another stylish rider from Terry Hills, is pictured riding her wonderful Welsh Cob, 'Alcheringa Tradition'. Stephanie jumped a good double clear with the young Cob and rode her 'Handy High Ambitions' to second place in the P & M Kennedy Tiling and Bega Bobcats Under 14 Junior AM5.

Ally Lamb is pictured with 'Penrose' (by Contango II) one of her two first round clears in the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity. Penrose was a last start Futurity winner at Equitana and was fourth at Bega. Ally jumped two of just six first round clears in the Futurity, the second coming from the Daley K mare, 'Silverton' that took third place.

Amanda Madigan jumps a lovely fence with the Butcher twins' imported Coleman (by Cathago) mare, 'Colthaga' during the first round of the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity. Unfortunately things did not continue so sublimely, with the talented pair parting company later in the course.

Well-known and successful South Australian rider, Kristy Bruhn looks good during the first round of the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity.

David Boulton from Sale with his Daley K gelding, 'Special K' making a lovely jump during the first round of the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity.

Tallara Barwick and 'Chief Justice' were another combination to make a super jump over this riding oxer during the first round of the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity.

Georgie Lucas from Tumit, jumped a clear first round in the Slaters Fuel Services and Caltex Futurity riding her Jet Set D gelding, 'Jetsetter B'. Georgie rounded out a good show with fifth place.

Rider, Jamie Kermond prepared the young stallion perfectly to claim the class by jumping the fastest of the two jump off clears.
