Kirsty Harper-Purcell rode the Harper-Purcell Family's 'Rothwell Performing Arts' to win the Open 12.2-13hh class.

Beau Cunning is no stranger to the winners circle at Royal Shows and her mount, the George Family's 'Rathowen Scarlet Ribbons' is sure to become very used to the limelight. The really lovely mare,by Courtland Boy Blue out of Rathowen Russet has made and enormous impact at her first Royal Show. The mare was declared Supreme Led Riding Pony, Reserve Champion Ridden Show Pony , won her Novice and Open 13-13.2hh classes and was declared Champion Large Pony. Not a bad show!

Byron Cann was up early this morning to win the Novice Gentleman Rider class.

Sarah Young's 'Bamborough Etchings' by Bamborough Patriarch and ridden by Jade McClusker won the Novice Pony 13.2-14hh class and was second in the Open.

FrankThompson rode the Thompson and Myers nomination, 'Of Two Cities' to win the Novice Lightweight Show Hunter class.The Show Hunter classes are new on the Brisbane programme this year.

Victorian ex pat., Paul Austin, rode Bonnie Chivers' 'Amore' to win the class for Novice Hacks Over 16hh. Paul is pictured earlier in the day on his way to second place in the Lightweight Hunter class..

Maddi Rhodes rode the Rhodes Family's 'Binnowie Soprano' to take second place in the class for Novice Pony Hacks 13-13.2hh. With the Novice winners this year eligible for the ride off for Champion Pony Hack, 'Binnowie Soprano' was second to the eventual Champion Large Pony and went on to take out the Reserve Championship.

Thomas Madigan from Mackay in North Queensland rode the Madigan Family's 'Helden Park Eclipse' in the class for Novice Ponies 13-13.2hh.

Anna Clothier rode 'Bamborough Pristine' by Bamborough Royal Request to win the class for Novice Ponies 12.2-13hh.

The Pony Championships might have been a bit confusing for some showgoers to follow. this year. Courtney Rabjones rode Adam Oliver's 'Whitmere Royal Ballet' by Pendley Gold Cup to win the Novice 12-12.22hh class. They took sixth place in their Open class and went on to tbe declared Champion Small Pony.

Fiona Elder rode the Elder Family's 'Doonkami Show Stream' to take second place in the Novice and third place in the Open Pony 12-12.2hh classes.

Ellie Evans rode Marion Evans' 'Oaklands Park Imeoff' to take fifth place in the class for Novice Pony Hacks 12-12.2hh.

Jamie Raymont, pictured with Group B entry, 'Seabreeze Celica' went on, later in the day to win the Group C AM5 riding his 'Hot 'n Spicy'.

The McDonald-Smith nomination, 'Warranwood Sterling' and his charming rider took fifth place in the class for Novice Pony Hacks NE12hh.

Jordan Swift took out an impressive double with the Swift Family's 'Wattles Jezabelle' to win both the Novice and Open Pony NE 12hh classes.

Katika Lipp from Toowoomba rode the lovely Victorian bred pony by Kirreway Ambition, 'Dainhill Flute', to win the Open Pony Hack 13.2-14hh class

The Cobigan Draught Horses' 'Cobigan Juliette' pulled the Pirate Ship to win the Decorated Single Turnout for Medium or Heavy horses.

Terry Cowan rode the Corvi, Beggs and Cowan nomination, 'Classic Lunch' (out of a Lunchtime mare) to win the 14 Stone Show Hunter class and take out the Show Hunter Championship.

Megan Hitch rode her eight year-old Valuta gelding, (out of a Thoroughbred mare) to win the Novice Heavyweight Show Hunter class.

Mark Kenzig with his own and the Wadsworth Family's 'Absolut', to win the Open 12 Stone Hack class and claim the Reserve Show Hunter Championship.

Grace Elliot with her lovely, kind going 10 Show Hunter winner, 'Cheraton Country Road'.

Mark Tarrant was second in the 14 Show Hunter class riding J Butler and CS & J Smith's 'Magestic'.

Renee Simpson rode her 'Kalykulya', by Rustic Amber to win the class for Novice Hacks 15-16hh.

Laura Willowson rode the Widdowson Family's 'High Profile' to take second place in the Novive Hack 15-16hh class. Laura went on later the win the Novice Junior Lady Rider class.

Queensland rider, Tim Amitrano took second place in the Group C AM5 riding 'Santorini', (pictured). Earlier in the day Tim won the Group A AM5 riding his wonderful 'Mr Innocent'.

Patrick Everingham competed in the Group C AM5 with his 'Buster Groves'.

Brett Warren with his Lander gelding, 'It's a Breeze', which took third place in the Group C AM5.

Thomas Robson rode the Robson and Parker Brisbane debutante, 'Montego Showgirl' to win the Open 12-12.2hh Pony Hack class and go on to take out the Small Pony Reserve Championship.

Ashley Harris rode her 'Macarthurparc Mystic' to win the inaugural Show Hunter Pony NE 14hh class.
