Jamie Fry from the 11th Lighthorse Caboolture Troop looked very much the part with 'Mountain View Major' to win the Best Troop or Police Horse Turnout class.

Sarah Smith's 'Rosemount Royalty' by Palmers Fort Abdul won the Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding 4 Years and Over class. The handsome gelding went on to be declared Best ASH Gelding Exhibit.

Graham Robertson with 'Manor Ladge Craftsman' by Manor Lodge Crusader, winner of the 3 Year Old Gelding class. Exhibited by KL Robertson.

Karen Nicholl and 'Springvale Sabrina' both seem delighted with victory in the ASH Mare 4 Years and Over, Over 15hh. Exhibited by KE Bryan.

Raymond Courtice from Bundaberg took second place in the second and last JUnior Jumping class riding the colourful Tom.

Cameron Jones rode the ex Thaisa Erwin, 'Lobenstein' in the second and final Junior Jumping class today.

Tracy Dicey from Kippa King in Queensland rode her 'Blackwood' to take fourth place in the Junior Jumping class this morning.

Jodie Berman's 'Will-E-Go' looked good in both Junior Jumping classes and won the class today.

Amanda Visser took out the 2 Year-Old ASH Filly class with K Hallinan's, 'Prime Time' by Dinkum Pepsi out of Just In Time.

Dave Wiseman did the honours for the Koorala ASH Stud with 'Koorala Copyright' by Palmers Fort Abdul, to take third place in the 2 Year-Old ASH Filly class.

Kirsty Ewans' 'Jaybee Apache', by Archimedes won the Stallion class and went on to be declared Supreme Led Buckskin Exhibit.

The Field Family Partnership from Pilliga in NSW only exhibit lovely, typey horses. Here Malcom Field takes out the 3 Year-Old ASH Colt class with 'Nandeye Resistance' by Resistol.

Angus Williams from Uralla rides his 'Irish Invader' in the Group C Campionships.

'Celestial Haze' jumped well for Matthew Kidston from Pleystone in Queensland to take third place in the Group C Championships.

Heidi Mellers jumped a super jump off round with the impressive Warmblood stallion, 'Animate' by Animo out of the late Susan Bond's Lucilla, to take second place in the Group C Championships.

Ronnie Easey did not place in the Group C Championships this morning riding 'Evita', but the mare's performance in this section , including a first and second place, was enough for 'Evita' to be declared Champion Group C Horse.

Every lunchtime at the Ekka, the show on the main arena stops for the Sheep Dog Trials. The finals were conducted today with the winners and placegetters enjoying a lap of honour.

Jackie Long and her very successful stallion, 'Heza Bruce' by Bannerman Bruce out of Dalguise Twinkle were no surprise winners of the ASHLA class, with Jackie as always eye-catching in her lemon jumper.

Ray Sillitoe had a very good day with the Rayjen Park Stud's 'Rayjen Park Night Rose'. The Mare by Riviera Night Opera out of Roan Lady won her Mare 4 Years and Over 15hh and Under class and went on to take out the Led ASH Mare/Filly Championship. Later in the day Ray rode the mare to take out the Working ASH Mare class.

L-R Brothers in arms. Allan Wallan won the Working ASH Stallion class with his 3 year-old 'Glencoe Black Jack' by Four Hu Stud Volant out of Jay Slick Chick. Allan went on to claim the Reserve Working award. Geoff Wallan won the Working Gelding class with 'Doongara Willpower' and took out the Working ASH Championship.
