Fifty-four year old Nick Skelton has survived a broken neck and a hip replacement. He showed none of it today as he led Team GB to victory in the Team competition riding the beautiful Quick Star stallion , 'Big Star'. Nick lived up to his great reputation finishing the three rounds with 0 penalties. There was a jump off for the Gold Team Medal between Great Britain and The Netherlands and Nick posted the fastest clear of the seven to start against the clock. It was a thrilling day for British showjumping.
