Anne and Paul Cole's 'Waylon J Harrison' (Bryjen Fort Talon/Morgans Rivoli) won the class for Australian Stock Horse Colts 2 and 3 Years.

Ms A Hansen's 'Benstein' (Wiganthorpe/Chermist) won the class for Open Breed Geldings 3 Years and Under, Over 14hh.

Nathan Birrell steps out with Ms L Fraser's 'Royalwood Concerto' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Knowing) that took second place in the class for Open Breeds Geldings 3 Years and Under, Over 14hh.

Jenna Milner rode Kerry and Paul Dunstan's 'Malibu Park Sorrento' (LJS Limited Edition imp/Penny Pot Heavenly Blue) to third place in the class for Newcomer Riding Ponies 12.2-13.2hh.

Chanel Hunter rode Raymond Butler's 'Karalana Opening Night' (LJS Limited Edition/Fairlight Acres Kianna) to win the class for Newcomer Riding Ponies 12.2-13.2hh and go on to claim the Reserve Newcomer Riding Pony Championship.

Austin and Kay Cartner's beautiful 'Go Bragh' (Wild Harmony/Small Reason), shown by Stephen Merry was declared Champion All Breeds Mare Over 15hh and went on to be declared Supreme Champion Led Open Breeds Exhibit.

You woud not find a better turned out horse anywhere. Kathleen Mullan is pictured with the Mullan Family's Champion Stallion and Supreme Led Standardbred Exhibit, 'Titan Thunder' (What's Next/Belle of Thunder).

Briony Payne has every reason to smile, as she is having a great show with her 'Sanlirra Prediction' (Vale Park Spotlight/Willowcroft Mahogany). The good working pony won the Newcomer Riding Pony 13.2-14.2hh and went on to claim the Newcomer Championship.

Graeme and Jodi Rozynski have had great success with their super filly, 'Roxby Park Kambala' (Mallanganee Sampson/Roxby Park Funny Face). The Three Year Old Filly won her class and was declared Champion Australian Stock Horse Mare/Filly and Supreme Les ASH, award she also claimed at the 2008 September Melbourne Royal.

The second day of the 2009 Melbourne Royal Summer Horse Show was a huge improvement on the first. It was perfect showing weather and Julie Shevlin is pictured with her lovely Part Welsh Exhibit, 'Naruni Park Royal Cascade' (Fairlight Acres Kristian/Fairlight Acres Allure).

Lisa O'Neill's super 'Pearl of Marconi' (Dutton Lea Select/Jewel of Marconi) won the class for Buckskin Filly 2 and 3 Years and went on to be declared Champion Female and Supreme Led Buckskin.

Belinda Cusworth took out the Open Breeds Champion Female Over 14hh award with her 'Aspen Park Jewell' (Kirreway Ambition/Miss Paree).

Well known showing identity, Peter Ronzio is pictured with Naruni Park's Champion Led Open Breeds Gelding 14-15hh, 'Aspirations of Sefton' (Kirreway Ambition/Great Occasion of Sefton).

The Oldcastle Pastoral Company's 'Derlwyn Anastasia' (Ascot Classic Silk/Derlwyn Natalya) was declared Champion Junior Part Welsh Filly and Supreme Led Part Welsh Exhibit.

Melise Tuma Webb from Wilberforce in NSW has a great show with her very well performed Australian Stock Horse Stallion, 'Win D Fortitude' (Palmers Fort Abdul/Jalna Jet). They claimed the Champion Led Stallion/Colt and the Champion Ridden ASH awards.

It's not all serious business at the Summer Royal. L-R Chloe Brooks riding 'Kessel' and Tia Phillips with 'Dora' were having a cool and casual and fun time today. Not sure about the ribbons!

The Kolbeach Stud's 'Holly's Tribute' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Holly of Springtime imp) was declared Champion Riding Pony Colt and went on top claim the prestigious Lee Sinclair Memorial Award for the Supreme Champion Led Riding Pony Exhibit. Zac Gallagher is pictured with Karen and Wayne Barton's super Standardbred, 'Jay Ar Ruer' (Ruer Hanover/Buffalo Lady). The typey 18 year old gelding has won his class nine times, has won three Championships and four Reserve Championships at the Summer Royal. This year he was declared Champion Led Standardbred Gelding and Reserve Champion Ridden Standardbred.

Aiden Lloyd from Woori Yallock rode his gelding,, 'Ellesmere Cajun' )Woodmount Carrick/Legal Ploy) to claim the Champion Ridden Irish Draught/Sporthorse award.
