First out in the Garryowen, Becky Allen with her very handsome Section 3 jumper, 'RSB Jacky Winter'. Jacky is also a very successful Show Hunter and from this photo, you can see why.

Former two time winner, Margot Haynes from South Australia, would have been at short odds. However, riding her 'Grazier', it was noit to be this year and they finished out of the placings.

Kate Hassell has every reason to look pleased. Just old enough to enter, (18) , Kate from Somerville rode 'Myscal Aloof' to win the award for the best placed first timer and was fifth overall. They were awarded 33 for Manners and Paces and 39 for Riding.

Leanne Donoghue from Nairne in South Australia rode Charlotte Mitton's well-performed 'Flawless' in the Garryowen.

The well travelled, Sarah O'Connor from Longford rides her 'Uncovered' in the Garryowen.

Kim Durante from Pimpama in Queensland has made many successful forays to Melbourne Show. Kim rode Hannah Evans' 'KT Madigan' to take third place in the Garryowen. They earned 28 for Manners and Paces and 38 for Riding.

Niciole Guillot from Lakes Entrance in Victoria is one of the new breed of young women embracing this traditional memorial competition. Nicole rode her 'Regal Outline' to score 31 and 37 and take second place.

First timer,Tiffany Greenhill joined her sister, Penny, in the Garryowen. Tiffany from Balnarring rode her 'Taking Centre Stage'.

Rebecca Groen from Tarneit rides her 'Gift' in the Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout competition to take sixth place.

Last to go, Karen Shaw from Chambers Flat in Queensland rode her own and the Redland Stables 'Crown' to score 33 for Manners and Paces and 41 for Riding, however they failed to make the placings.

'What you sow you reap'. Pam Ahern from Willowmavin in Victoria won her second Garryowen Trophy riding 'WP Imagine', a horse Pam saved from an inglorious end. Pam produced the horse and sold him on to his persent owner, Rebecca Farren. The outstanding grey, by Zabeel decided that it was 'pay back time' and worked beautifully.

Winning the Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14 hands and not over 15 hh, Langtree Class Act owned by Jan Langley and ridden by Greg Mickan.
