Becky Allen did not need the five second head start in the Section 3 class this morning to allow for 'RSB Jacky Winter's' Garryowen condition. The very well performed Showjumper, Hack and Show Hunter won the opening jump of the show with the only clear round in the three-way jump off.

Well-known Vet and showjumping rider, Adam Johnson looked good with his typey, 'Woodleigh Don Juan' in the combined Section 1 and 2 class this morning.

It was good to see Tim Clarke (now an accountant) back in action at Melbourne Royal. Tim was just out of the placings in the combined Section 1 and 2 AM5 this morning.

Jamie Smith from Bega in NSW rode Tony Priestley's 'Mr Whitter' to take third place in the combined Section 1 and 2 AM5 this morning.

Brook Dobbin was fourth the the combined Section 1 and 2 AM5 riding the well-performed 'GP Shine' (pictured) and second with GP Crossroads. With a victory in the Table C and other placings, Brook and 'Shine' were declared best Perfoemed Showjumping Horse and Rider.

Trudy Jones from Bamawm Extension in Northern Victoria was just out of the placings in the Novice Show Hunter Pony 12.2-14hh with her 'Marena Amber Dream'.

The Moloney Family's 'Lykanarro Rockafella' won the Novice Show Hunter Pony 12.2-14hh and went on to take out the Best Novice Show Hunter Pony Award and the Open 12-13hh. In fact the Moloney Family, with Patrick in the saddle won both the Novice Show Hunter 12.2 - 14hh class as well as the Novice 12.2hh and Under class with ' Lykanarro Ladysmith'. Both ponies were bred by Frances Best.

Lisa Kellock claimed yet another Show Hunter Pony Championship with her own and Sally Belcher's well-performed 'Belaradah Fantasia'.
