Thomas Madigan from Te Kowai in Queensland won the Boy Rider 7 - 10 Years class and was declared Reserve Champion Boy Rider Under 14 Years.

The beautiful 'LJS Keeping Secrets' by Pendley Gold Cup out of Ardenhall Royal Secret, both imported claimed yet another Small Pony Championship, with usual rider, Beau Cunning. Exhibited by Darren Telford and Greg Gerry.

Briony Payne rode Suzy Burt's super moving 'Castleton Velvet Rose' by Willowcroft Regal Emblem out of Heiress of Astral, to win the Open Pony 13.2-14hh class.
Marcia Beard certainly has has a wonderful showing career with her 'Rhyl Matinee'. The seven-year-old mare by Strinesdale Matador (UK) out of Rhyl Maquillage, has been Best Novice Pony and three-time Melbourne Champion Large Pony, three-time Barastoc Large Pony OTY as well as National Champion Large Pony. With little left to do in the show ring, Matinee is retiring no doubt to a life of producing more Royal Show Champions.
Tamara Lee rode the Wight Family's 'Otway View Oregon' to win the Shetland Pony 10 -10.2hh class and go on to take out the Champion Shetland Pony Hack award.
Kara Woolcock rode her own and N Munday's 'Bojinda Little Kimbo' to take second place in the Shetland Pony 10-10.2hh class and went on to take out the Reserve Champion Ridden Shetland award. A little later in the day, Lily McEvoy rode 'Kimbo' to win the Child's Ridden Shetland class.

Lauren Tomasi from Jindabyne in NSW won the Girl Rider 12 AU 14 Years class and was declared Champion Girl Rider Under 14. Lauren also won the Good Hands Challenge Trophy for Girls and with it the Eileen Bartrum Trophy.
