2005 Royal Melbourne Show, Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout winner, Margot Haynes and Grazier.

Ian and Lynette Fritsch from Mt Gambier in SA brought their all-conquering, 'Lovenvale Elaenor' to Melbourne to claim the Champion Harness Clydesdale award.

Well-known Melbourne Royal identity, Ron King claimed the Reserve Champion Harness Clydesdale award with the Kefford Corporation's 'Meadow Lane Jackson'.

All were hoping that the mystery graffiti artist was right!

Garryowen General Appearance judge, Jo Noonan is prepared for the predicted bad weather.

Dimity Erickson was first out in the Garryowen riding Brian Scholes and Gary Beaton's 'Lemrac's Dancing Poet'. Poor Dimity did a super job having to contend with a giant loaf of bred from which bmx bikes would regularly appear and leap in the air. Its tough being a horse at Melbourne.

This photograph shows the beautifully presented combination of Stacey Oakley and 'WS Adelante' in front of the building site that is the Melbourne Showground. "Well I'm here", Adelante seems to be saying. Unfortuntely the activity surounding the arena was a little too much for the beautiful bay horse.

Pam Ahern from Willowmavin in Victoria won the Garryowen in 1997 riding Pagaent and has done well ever since. She rode her Adelaide Champion Hack, 'Hype' to take third place this year.
