Thr Harness classes this year were restricted to the small arena at the western end of the showgrounds. A far cry from the large arena they have enjoyed at the Melbourne Showgrounds for many years.

Sherry Hanley from Lara drove her attractive and good-working Andalusian in an imported 1880's English Dog Cart to win the Novice Horse Driven in Single Harness class.
