2005 Royal Melbourne Show

Three-year-old Ebony Lee did a splendid job in the Leading Rein Pony class at her first Melbourne Royal Show. Ebony rode The Howe Family's 'Narrawah Park Jazz' with Megan Howe on the other end of the lead line.

Chanele Hunter was giving rider, Tahlia Bird some words of wisdom during the Leading Rein Pony class. Tahlia was riding Chanele's 'Fairfield Park Kirstyn'.

The wonderful 'Roseagle Rhapsody' captured another Leading Rein class with Sarah Andrews in the saddle and Kimberley Riemer on the line. 'Rhapsody' went on to win the Open Pony 11.2-12hh class. Exhibited by Kimberley, Nicole and Danyel Riemer.

Despite having a bit of hat trouble, Eloise Guistozzi took sixth place in the Leading Rein Pony class riding her mother Alyssa's 'Langtree Ice Magic'.

Courtney Remington from Yuroke always wins the smile prize, but in this picture the sometimes serious 'Harry',(Eleda Park Yeoman) does his best for the camera. Courtney won the Girl Rider 12-14 Years class and went on to take out the Under 14 Girl Rider Championship.

Serena Brillianti rode her 'Wynton Makebelieve' to take third place in the Turnout for Girls and Boys 12-14 Years.

Jemima Draper from Echuca rode her 'Kylen Mattise' to take sisth place in the Turnout class for Girls and Boys 12-14 Years.

Dani Jolly-Blackett with her 'Sanlirra Stageshow' working out in the Turnout class for Girls and Boys 12-14 years.

James Burgun from Benalla won the Boys Riding 10-12 Years class and went on to take out the Boy Rider Under 14 Years Reserve Championship.

Thomas Pearce from Eden Park took second place in the Boy Rider 10-12 Years class.

Joel Pearce matched his brother Thomas' performance to take second place inthe Boy Rider 7-10 Years. Here he waits in the wings for the family Riding comp. pony to come available.

Jack Rae, Melbourne Royal Ringmaster from 1984-1997, keeps his eye on proceedings.

Thamas Madigan all the way from Tekowai in Queensland, won the Boy Rider 7-10 Years and went on to take out the Boy Rider Under 14 Years Championship.

Simon Carey from Glenburn took out the Good Hands Competition for Boys.

Jemima Draper rode Kim Higgin's 'Glengwin Material Boy' to win the Open Pony 11hh and Under class.

Nathan Uraca rode P Carroll and V Osbourne's 'Morning Mist Celtic Queen' in the Open Pony 11hh and Under class.

Chelsea Heard looks to be in wonderful harmony with 'Carisma Park Bedina' in the work out for the Open Pony 11hh and under class. They finished in third place.

Tom O'Conner Junior, did a great job with his parents, Tom (snr) and Natalie O'Connor's 'Doongara Daniel' to take second place in the Open Pony 11hh and Under class.

Hayley Jones rode Lisa McMaster's 'Flowerdale Fugitive' to win the Open Pony11-11.2hh class.

Bailey Trimble's 11.2-12hh Open Pony, 'Saint Ronan's Tiny Dancer' preferred a 'liberty workout. Both Bailey and the bridle survived the incident to be happily united with the free moving pony.

Tessa Hughes from Mt Gambier was again aboard the Riemer girls' 'Roseagle Rhapsody' to again win the Open Pony 11.2-12hh class.

There is riding and then there is riding. Although this fellow seems to prefer flying. Part of the popular Yamaha Motor Cross display at the show this year.

Rebecca Whitehead was very pleased with 'Imperial Flashtime's' workout in the Open Pony 12-12.2hh class. Exhibited by Kim Fasan, Flashtime took third place.

Jan Langley's 'Langtree Occasional Fun' by Fairley Temptation (imp) won the Open 12-12.2hh Pony class with Sueanne Vale in the saddle.

Laura Heffer rode her 'Barina Endeavour' to win the Show Hunter Pony Over 12hh and Not over 13hh class.

Lisa Kellock rode her homebred 'Belaradah Fantasia' to take second place inthe Show Hunter Pony 13-14hh class.

"I think I won", 'Mirinda Kingsway' seems to be saying, and he was right. Tessa Hughes had a super day and at the end of it took out a tough Show Hunter Pony Championship with her super pony by the great Keston Royal Occasion (imp).

Deputy Ringmaster, Geoff Beard sashes Jacqui Devrome's 'Malawa Park Legendary' as Reserve Champion Show Hunter Pony. Legendary won the Show Hunter Pony 12hh and Under class.
