Successful international eventing rider, Christine Bates produced a copy book round today on the CCI One Star cross- country course riding 'Dougal ' Reilly' to hold her second place on 46.90 going in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Young Rider, Tara Rogers rode, 'Hunter Bullimore' to jump clear and move from tenth to eighth place of the CCI One Star competition.The final showjumping phase tomorrow with determine the final placings.

Experienced rider and trainer, Craig Barrett is pictured over fence 19 on the CCI Three Star cross country course riding the Osborne's , 'Sandhills Brillaire'. Uncharacteristically Craig and the talented mare fell foul of what turned out to be the bogy fence of the course, the Australian Sports Commission Ditch at fence 5. The 20 jumping penalties plus time penalties saw Craig slip from sixth place after the dressage to eighth place going in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Shane Rose rode the Wischer family's Warmblood gelding, 'CP Qualified' by Quiet to move in to the CCI Three Star lead with the addition of just 4.8 time penalties. CP Qualified goes in to the final jumping phase tomorrow with just over a fence in hand. No one went clear and under time, the closest to do so was Shane riding Jonnie Walker's Taurus, that added just 0.8 to move from seventh after the dressage phase to third place.

Jessamay Walsh and 'Keep Walkin' went a little bit faster today to produce a clear cross country run to hold on to fourth place in the Horsepower CCI One Star event.

Surprisingly the talented and experienced pair had a run out at fence five. Despite that they finished with just the addition of 3.6 time penalties plus the 20 for the run out. They slipped from third to fifth, but are still with a chance of a higher placing after the final jumping phase tomorrow...

Jessica Mason and her super Australian Stock Horse cross, 'Legal Star' by Ringwould Legality produced a wonderful cross country run for the addition of just 3.2 time penalties to hold fourth place going in to the final jumping phase of the Equestrian NSW CCI Three Star competition tomorrow.

New Zealand international rider, Clark Johnson, sadly parted company with 'Balmoral Sensation' after this shot was taken during the Equestrian NSW CCI Three Star competition. The Sydney CCI Three Star represents a WEG qualifying event and not doubt, the 2010 Team Bronze Medal winner is keen to get on the 2014 Team.
